Hey Cath, didn't know you were a Coldplay fan!

I've heard mixed reactions about VH, I've noticed that VLV has been getting better feedback. I have to admit that it took a few listens for VH to really grow on me, whereas I loved VLV from the start.

Yeah, I am.

I remember you were because I think it came up once on one of the House threads.

I admit, Violet Hill grew on me too but when I initially listened to it, I felt like the odd guitar sound you hear once in a while didn't really mesh well with the rest of the song.

Loved VLV from the start though and the more I listen to it, the more I'm in love with it.

I also just listened (via the Grey's link someone provided earlier) to Lovers In Japan and I love that song too.

I've also found elsewhere on the Net 'Life In Technicolor' and an acousic version of 'Lost!' and the songs sound awesome.

I can't wait to hear the rest of the album.

There's a link in one of the big posts 2 pages back: it takes you to a Grey's Anatomy episode and you can hear the song at the very beginning of the episode.

Good news about the tour... but there won't be a concert here

i'm sad about that. it would be the first time. i really want to see the band.

I wasn't paying attention to Grey's when I was watching the finale, so I actually didn't notice that they were playing a Coldplay song until I saw someone mention it online later. Bad CP fan moment, I know!

So their performance was good. Not the best I've seen of them. But they're a bit rusty. It's expected. Chris' voice sounded a bit off. Plus, the sound system sounded bad from the beginning of the show and VLV is a hard song to do live considering how it's basically all strings. When I saw it the first time, I was really disappointed but watching it a second time, it wasn't nearly as bad as I thought.

In other news,
Guy is STILL a sexy beast.

I LOVED them all singing during the bridge.
This performance just made me want to see them again MORE.

And I might burst with excitement for their album. Seriously. CAN'T WAIT.
