| The Clash Hey guys! I'm a huge Clash fan and thought that they deserved their own thread because they're just THAT GOOD! | Best Punk Band Ever! "Train in Vain" is one the best pop, (punk), songs of it's time. | Wa-hey, there's a thread for The Clash now  I basically grew up listening to The Clash, because my dad was a huuuuge fan, and so he always played all those bands like The Clash, The Ramones, The Sex Pistols... and i've always loved their music. Thanks for starting a thread  | |||

| Yeah, I have Lodon Calling, and Combat Rock, as well as a three disk box set. Their early stuff was always underated, (I'm taking really early). It's a more of a striped down, raw sound. Their cover of "Pressure Drop" has always been a favorite of mine. btw, London Calling made RS 500 most essential albums of all time. It came in top 10! That really is telling. But I always knew the influence they had. | London Calling was also RS top album of the 80's though it came out in 79!  yeah, the Clash are an inspiration to so many of today's artists. | Man, The Clash are such a great band. London Calling is perhaps one of the best songs ever made. | The death of Joe... *tear* I did a project on the Clash in my English class and I had to give a speech about them.
