| Chantal Kreviazuk ( how to say her last name ) Born May 18, 1973 in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada Is of Ukrainian heritage Has 2 brothers, Michael and Trevor, both older Dad owns Krevco Pools and Spas Married to Raine Maida, frontman for Canadian rock band Our Lady Peace Has one son, Rowan, born January 16, 2004 Signed with Sony Canada in 1996 Won Best Pop/Adult Contemporary Album (CMS) and Best Female at the 2000 Juno Awards (Canada's version of the Grammy's) Quick recap of her accident: In 1994, Chantal (then age 21) and her then-boyfriend were traveling through Italy when Chantal was hit head on by a motorcycle while riding a moped. She received severe injuries, including a broken femur. Chantal required six plates and twenty screws (also has been said that it was four plates and sixteen screws) in her face. As a result of her injuries, Chantal has no feeling from her bottom lip to her chin and also has a forget-me-not tattooed on her upper left arm to cover one of many scars. | Oh, wow, Kreviazuk, you did a GREAT job!  Chantal's been on Much lately? I didn't know that!
