| Brand New #1 ~ The first song for your mix-tape! So, I’m very new to fan forum but wanted to create this thread to discuss and introduce the Long Island quartet, Brand New   For those that don't know, the band comprises of:Jesse Lacey: Lead Vocals/Guitar Brian Lane: Drums Vinnie Accardi:Guitar Garrett Tierney: Bass  The guys have a new album coming out on November 21st/20th in the UK called The Devil and God Are Raging Inside Me. You can hear their new single Sowing Season (Yeah) on the bands Myspace page. They have two previous albums, Your Favourite Weapon and their breakout Deja Entendu. Hope to generate some discussion! | Brand New is my favorite band EVER. I'm weak and have been listening to the leaked songs nonstop. So worth the 3+ year wait. "Degausser" and "Jesus Christ" alone have exceeded my greatest expectations. I've seen BN several times, most recently last Thursday. They were amazing, as always! __________________ i love you so much that it hurts my head. | |||

| ok...favourite lyrics....there are WAY too many but: A phone call I'd rather not receive. Please use my body while I sleep. My lungs are fresh and yours to keep, Kept clean and they will let you breathe. Is this the way a toy feels when its batteries run dry? I am the watch you always wear but you forget to wind. | There's definitely too many, but pretty much all of Tommy Gun, especially "Oh, my tongue's the only muscle on my body that works harder than my heart..." Currently... "Jesus Christ, I'm not scared to die... I'm a little bit scared of what comes after." and "But I'm scared I'll get scared and I swear I'll try to nail you back up."
