I like older a7x but their new stuff has grown on me. They're all extremely talented musicians, I wish I could play piano like any one of these guys.

They've started to grow on me as well. My daughter used to play them constantly in the car, and now I've got my very own A7X playlist My favourite at the moment is Gunslinger.

I keep seeing the video for Afterlife, I'm thinking I may get the latest of theirs. Hmm.

Woah I come one and see that theres more a7x lovers yay!
Well im happy since I got to meet them but i practically stalked them at the adelaide airport then later on saw them live that night
it was pretty amazing i say. I cried when i met Zacky and caught his
guitar pick, but im still debating on whose it is haha Syns or Zackys
and when we were at the airport Syn was so nice, he came up to us and hugged us and signed a few things
the girls i was with were just as excited and shocked as i was.

That's so cool that you got to meet them!

Did you guys hear about the new DVD coming out?
"“Live in LBC & Diamonds in the Rough” is finally going to be released on September 16th, 2008. The DVD/CD will feature the headlining show from Long Beach Arena during the Rockstar Taste of Chaos." (from their website)

I don't know if I'll be able to watch it... That was the show I was supposed to go to!

I did hear about it and i also got this piece of infomation

New CD and DVD Details
AVENGED SEVENFOLD: 'Live In The LBC & Diamonds In The Rough' DVD+CD Details Revealed - July 22, 2008

Hard-rock heroes AVENGED SEVENFOLD have announced fall headlining tour dates beginning September 9 and co-headlining dates with BUCKCHERRY kicking off in mid-September. AVENGED SEVENFOLD and BUCKCHERRY will alternate as headliners, with SHINEDOWN and SAVING ABEL filling out the bill.

On September 9, AVENGED SEVENFOLD will release a DVD/CD package, entitled "Live in the LBC & Diamonds in the Rough". The live DVD features the band's April 10 hometown show at the Long Beach Arena headlining the Rockstar Taste of Chaos tour, while the CD contains previously unreleased b-sides that were recorded during the making of "Avenged Sevenfold", plus various covers, and other never-before-heard material. The DVD was directed by Core Entertainment's Rafa Alcantara, who also worked on the band's critically acclaimed 2007 road documentary "All Excess".

The track-listing for "Live in the LBC & Diamonds in the Rough" is as follows:

CD:

01. Demons
02. Girl I Know
03. Crossroads
04. Flash of the Blade
05. Until the End
06. Tension
07. Walk
08. The Fight
09. Dancing Dead
10. Almost Easy (Remix)
11. Afterlife (Alternate version)

DVD:

01. Critical Acclaim
02. Second Heartbeat
03. Afterlife
04. Beast and Harlot
05. Scream
06. Seize the Day
07. Walk
08. Bat Country
09. Almost Easy
10. Gunslinger
11. Unholy Confessions
12. A Little Piece of Heaven

AVENGED SEVENFOLD have raised hell on the fourth annual Rockstar Taste of Chaos massively successful arena tour and are currently in the middle of a European tour with rock legends IRON MAIDEN. The band is touring behind its latest self-produced, self-titled album, which topped the Billboard Alternative, Hard, and Rock charts the week after its release. The follow-up to 2005's million-selling "City of Evil", "Avenged Sevenfold" also debuted at No. 4 on the Billboard Top 200, marking the biggest sales week ever for the quintet. The album's first single, "Almost Easy", was a Top 10 hit at Active Rock, went Top 20 at Alternative, and was the No. 1 most played video on Fuse

I want to see them live! I'm probably going to order the DVD (so excited for it!) but I'll probably refuse to watch it right away until I see them live, then break down and watch it anyway.

Is everybody off voting for A7X to be nominated for Best Rock Video for the MTV Music Awards? You should be! :]

I'm breathing some new life into this thing

from when I saw em:

I still wanna see an all A7x show. This was a festival, and I think a concert would just be even better.

Thanks for bringing this thread to life!
I just saw A7X in concert for the first time on January 30th. They were really good, but I just wish they had played more songs. Like, a little bit more of their old stuff. They didn't even play "Seize The Day" which was disappointing. I do like their new stuff but I think my favorite will always be their City of Evil CD. It is just epic.

aww yeah that's a shame.
I just wish they'd played more songs, period.
I like all of their stuff really, I don't think I can really say what my favorite cd is. I changes allll the time. My all time favorite is on Waking The Fallen though. But favorite album... I really don't know.
City Of Evil is epic indeed

Yep, I wish they just played more songs too.
I wish they could have played "A Little Piece of Heaven" because I think that's my favorite song of all time by them. But, alas, they did not.

Waking the Fallen is really great too. That CD is almost equal to City of Evil for me.
