Well, today I finally bought Death Cab's 'We Have The Facts and We're Voting Yes'. Have been wanting it for aaages, so I was happy to findi t.

Hey I was just wondering how many people here go out to local gigs at bars and such to support their local music scene?

I try to go as much as possible. This Saturday I'm going to see I Killed the Prom Queen and other bands, this Sunday is Parkway Drive, The Hot Lies and others I don't remember at the moment.

Kara that's cool. I didn't end up seeing Prom Queen but I heard the show was awesome. I did go to the one last night, though. Which was awesome.I'm now listening to the Hot Lies' EP on repeat.

Dunno if my brother like Hot Lies. But i know he likes Prom queen, coz he has their cd. I know he likes other bands like Shotpointblank, The Killchoir Project, From autumn to ashes. They're the only ones that i can think of atm

Oh. Right. This thread. Um, Transatlanticism and We have The Facts And We're Voting Yes were pretty easy to find in Borders. But I haven't seen them anywhere else and I remember you saying there wasn't a Borders in Adelaide. And I've been looking for The Photo Album and Something About Airplanes everywhere but I can't find either. So as of this moment, Borders has been the only place where I've found them.

There's a Borders in Adelaide. It's been here for like...4 years or something. I don't go there for CDs, though. JB Hi-Fi has a couple of Death Cab CDs. They're usually pretty good in the way of having a good range. Also, Big Star often has the harder to find CDs, but for a bigger price.

Theres a Borders in Adelaide? Pfft, well i never know what shops we have here. Its prolly in the City, and i never go in the city. Knowing my luck tis prolly right around the corner
Yeah, i recently heard JB HiFi have a pretty good range of CDs, i plan to one day get off my ass and find where the stores are
I've bin in Big Star, its all 2nd hand cds. Like, crap 2nd cds. I think it was Big Star i went into. Once again not good at knwoing the stores

I listen to heaps of different kinds of music. At the moment I'm listening to Depeche Mode.
But, my favourite bands include The Beatles, Good Charlotte, Bright Eyes, The Smiths, Morrissey, AFI, Weezer, Led Zeppelin, Mest, Brand New, Blondie...
None of which are Australian.
