We went to a wrestling show last week and a guy sitting in the row in front of us had on a t-shirt from the Blaqk Audio show that was here a few weeks ago. I wanted to ask him how the show was, but I'm not confident enough to talk to strangers like that.
 I later posted pictures from the wrestling show on instagram and that same guy liked my pictures. Small world.  /random story |

haha i'm one of those who would talk to strangers when seeing their tshirt. I once yelled "through our bleeding we are one" at 2 people who were on the opposite platform of the subway. Unfortunately, they didn't respond in any way so people look at me weird.

I love talking to new people at shows it keeps it fun. I need to see AFI live and listen to their classic songs.

yeah. well the guys are working on new AFI material. They have an average of 3 to 3½ years between albums. So I guess next year would be an AFI year? I wonder when Davey will have time to work on that No Doubt side project and his book and who knows what else he is working on.

From what Hunter has hinted towards it sounds like 2017 will be the year for new music. I really want Davey to finish the 2nd book...I'm really curious how that one will turn out. Jade just posted today that Blaqk Audio is playing a few shows around Halloween. So hopefully through all of this there will be new AFI by this time next year.

I'm thinking so. Where as I'm very curious to hear the new side project, but I will never pass up on getting new AFI first.
