I'm going to the Chicago shows next week and a couple of other shows on the PWT's tour in July. They are fun guys. It will be a good time.

06.27.05| 2 weeks in limbo.
So i've been home for about a week and a half from tour, on a bit of a short break before the headlining tour, and I've had a few strange realizations... One. Seeing our video on Fuse TV is a trip.
I'm not quite sure how to react to it. I'm estatic, believe me, but it's still a bit surreal.
Two. Playing 2 songs live on national radio (millions of listeners) on Mancow's Morning Madhouse is ALSO a trip.
See above.
Three. Time at home does NOT equal time for rest and relaxation.
Between seeing my girlfriend, my family and old friends alone, i've but no time to just sit back, take a deep breath, and chill out. I'm not complaining, trust me. But my Mom insists I look exhausted all the time. And I insist I'm just stressed... She isn't wrong.

Other than that, tomorrow we start working on our set for the headlining tour. Words could come close, but not completely describe how damned EXCITED i am for the tour. I won't give away too much, but i'll let you in a couple HUSH HUSH secrets... If you've ever seen us before, thank you, but you MUST come out to this tour. We are going to be putting on the best shows we've ever played. That, I can promise. I'll tell you a little more in a couple days. But for now, GET EXCITED. The Mamba is coming.

It's getting late and security is tossing drunks and stacking chairs. I spent another 10 minutes to talk perspective with the bartender, and another 10 in legal tender. Now my pockets aren't empty, but I'm out of cash. I've got no green paper, but a dozen napkins with a dozen numbers that I'll never call. Half the time the women who stay after these things don't care what band you're in. Just as long as you are, and you're leaving in the morning, fumbling through your pockets, trying to figure out which napkin was hers. But that isn't me. Not my aim. My alignment is way off anyway. Well you don't know my name, just my face, and just in case you're wondering, I won't remember this bar in the morning. And just in case you're wondering, I'm leaving in the morning. On nights like these, I feel like I'm an extra on the set of "Singles".

I saw TAI in St. Louis last Saturday. I took Bill to some bar before the show to use the bathroom, lol. The little boys room in the venue was out of service. I had to hold his hot tea while he went in. Weird. The rest of the night, aside from watching their (way too short) set, was spent hanging out with Tom, chatting/gossiping and doing Jello shots and Jager Bombs with him, haha. He forgot to put my friend and me on the guest list, so he and Tony (tour manager) talked to the dude at the back door and Tom was able to walk us in before they played. Yay. We "forgot" to save some Jello shots for Chad (merch guy), and he told me the next time I see Tom to run far away from him so he can get some shots, too.

I love those guys. Tom filled us in on all of their upcoming unannounced still-secret tour plans. We're not allowed to talk about them, but I will say that it's going to be at least November before I get to see them again. Boo!

Man am I surprised to see a thread for these guys around here. Love em and they deserve to be huge. Saw them twice already this year but would love it if they came back around with Spitalfield and HIPV, but they are not. Amazing show.

Favorite song by TAI for me is easily "Slow Down".
