I was like 8 years old when it happened.
I remember connecting Aaliyah's death and 911 with each other when that(911). I was like Aaliyah died in a plane crash 2 weeks ago. And now a plane 'crashes' into a building. |

Aaliyah had so much left to still give to this world both personally and through her music. It's a shame that she is no longer here to brighten the world with her music because she sure did have a great voice. May she rest in peace.

A few days before her death she told her mother she was having frequent dreams about flying in a dark place all alone, and crashing down to her death.
"It is dark in my favorite dream. Someone is following me. I don't know why. I'm scared. Then suddenly I lift off, far away. How do I feel? As if I am swimming in the air, free, weightless. Nobody can reach me. Nobody can touch me. It's a wonderful feeling."
