Happy belated 4th of July to all Americans around

Totally lazy day for me, spent most of my time in the garden enjoying the sun so far

We're supposed to get thunderstorms tomorrow, so I'm trying to catch as much

as possible today.

How sad was Donna's goodbye scene or whatever you'd like to call it *sigh*. And no more Wilf - loved how he told the Doctor he'd look at the sky every night for her. Can't they make him the new companion? I bet that would be awesome.

Loved seeing everyone in the TARDIS when they flew the Earth back.

And Doctor² - "It's you" - "Oh yes" - "You are naked" - "Oh yes" *rotfl* And the whole interchange when he realized what happened to Donna and how everything had been set up - awesome!

Oh and is the blue suit gone for good now?

Overall I'm not quite sure what to make out the finale, my first impression is that is was an okay finale, not outstanding, but quite good. I'll have to watch it again tonight though.

I'd be happy and willing to watch WIlf go along with the Doctor, but there so many arguments against it. I wonder how I'll make it through watching the episode with my mom and not cry.

Keep it, we had that like 2 weeks ago and I felt like I was slowly melting

While I love warm weather, but everything above 25 - 28° is not my thing.

On another note, I thought Sarah Jane, Jack, Jackie and Mickey could have gotten a bit more screen time in the finale.

I think it depends on who's going to be the next Doctor to keep me watching. If they find someone I like and who I think can make a good Doctor, I might keep watching when DT leaves one day.

I think at that point I'll go sit in a dark seedy bar and get drunk... Okay maybe not, maybe I'll just go lay in bed for a long time. I think most people did. Stupid RTD for making her so awesome, and stupid CT for being awesome enough to pull off Donna.

I walked over 3 and a half miles today, at 8 this morning it wasn't so bad, it only felt like 20. At 10:30 it was 24, but felt like 30. When I got back to Montreal it was 3:30, the temperature was 31 and it felt like 37. I got yelled at by multiple people because I didn't keep properly hydrated, but I don't know Ottawa well enough to hunt down a doctor's office or government office for free water, and I'll be damned if I'm going to pay $1 to $1.50 for water.

I know who's playing the next companion, I mean I've never heard of this person until I read their name, but I've seen a picture.

I was okay with the screentime Sarah Jane and Jack got because we'll see them again, plus they had some great lines. Mickey was fairly awesome, plus now he's in the Doctor's universe so maybe we'll see him again

The one I'm upset about is Jackie. But because she left the baby with alt!Pete and went after Rose she won all sorts of points in my book- not that she needed those points, mind you.

I will not let my mom watch Torchwood, well except for one episode, and her reaction proves that she and I are so alike.

you know when the shape-shifter shaped like Jack went to visit Gwen in the wedding episode? They're looking like they're about to kiss and my mom yelled at the tv "Don't you dare!"
