Hi Squints

Jenny, did you manage to repair your 'ctrl' key?

Francie, I hope you'll be able to work something out. If you don't have your voice def sucks when you are at work

Jen, is that Tess Gerritsen latest book? I read some of her work and she always drags me in

Can't say I've heard about the 'The Quangle Wangle's Hat' before, but I'll check it out

Congrats on 56,000 posts

Hi Shauna

Yeah I read 'The Surgeon' by Tess Gerritsen over Christmas and loved it and then my Mum bought 'The Mephisto Club' for her to read on vacation and then she gave it to me.

You can't read these things at night though!

Thanks

Nad, thanks for the new thread We gotta fix the lyrics though.

Jen, congrats on reaching 56.000 posts Would you recommend Tess Gerritsen's books in general or just this one? What kinda books do you usually read?

Nat, happy about the Colts winning? What clothes did you buy?

Jenny "The Little Prince" is such a cute children book

This summer I read a few of Kathy Reichs' books and 'The Davinci Code' & 'Angel's & Demon's' by Dan Brown which I also really enjoyed. I also tried reading the alphabet series by Sue Grafton but I didn't really get into it and I only read up to half way through B is for Burglar. So I guess I like Crime/Mystery-ish books, but I also LOVE Fantasy.

I don't actually read much anymore besides Fan Fiction (though I used to be SUCH a little bookworm when I was younger), but I picked up 'The Surgeon' by Tess Gerritsen in the staff room at work to read during the Pantomime (I work in a theater) and I got really hooked! I've also loved this most recent book too, so yes I do recommend any of Tess Gerritsen's books. I think I may go and get some more out of the public library.

If I were you, I'd read some of the other books before 'The Mephisto Club' because they mention other things that I didn't know happened because I've only read that one and 'The Surgeon'

Congrats on #16,000!

I used to get so excited at every 1000th post I got, but now I don't feel like it's such a big deal My next big one will be 100,000 I'll definately be excited for that one

Aw well you've only been here a couple of months! I've been here for nearly 4 1/2 years I'm sure when you've been here that long you'll have a post count like that.
