To be honest, I know a lot of people with curly hairs who always try to straight it... Which I don't get. I have straight hair and I'd love to have pretty curls

With a fro like his, flat ironing is a killer... It usually looks terribly unnatural and destroys hair so freaking much.

True true. I have curly hair, and I straighten it a lot (though I do love it when it's curly, too). I don't have a signature fro like Tj does though, haha.

I don't know how fros or man-hair works, but longer hair loses some if its bounce if it gets styled, etc. too much.

WAIT! Hart is gonna mess up again. They shot some S4 stuff already didn't they? Tj's hair is gonna change. I remember being freaked about Player Under Pressure because Tj suddenly had a whole lot more hair than usual.

Haha, I always wondered if the prod believed we actually couldn't tell the difference between what was shoot in S3 and what was saved from the S2 in PuP. TJ was probably the most obvious one. It reminded me how much I missed his fro then, too...

I'm trying really hard to keep my usual bitchiness out of this place, but pics like this aren't helping. It's just that it pisses me off that everybody has to have a similar look on TV nowadays. Same hairstyle, same clothes style. Everything's so generic. He already hardly can stand out with his acting because of the non-existing challenging storylines, now he blends in even more, you know?

Seriously, I know what you mean - the writers seem to be so focused on Brennan/Booth these days that other characters just fall short - which is a shame IMO. Of course B/B are an important part of the show, but I feel the other characters deserve some room as well.

Especially if you have an interesting character like Hodgins and an actor like TJ - who has proven he can really shine if you give him something to work with. There's so much more to explore about Hodgins - getting more info about his family for one

I try not to base my judgement on season 3, but right now I find it a bit hard to get my hopes up for another stelar episode like AiaS in season 4. I'll be more than happy if I'm proven wrong though.

Seriously though, I don't mind that they focus on B/B. It's absolutely understandable. They're the main characters and obviously the show is constructed around them. What I mind is simply the way they focus on them. Which lately has been destroying any potential development of any characters other than them. Obviously, it's just my humble opinion and as I've been repeatedly told on LJ these past few weeks, I'm mistaken *shrugs*

I don't think we're ever gonna get an episode of AiaS quality. I would hope for at least another one that would let the characters evolve a bit, but I'm not holding my breath either. My main problem with how they write Hodgins these days, the total Angela-whipping aside, is that I can't define him as individual character anymore. I can't see him outside his relationship anymore. His storyline is J/A storyline. There's no substance to him outside the couple. Which is such a sad change after S2, especially in comparison with Man in the Mansion. We had a glimpse into his past and we had a glimpse into his personality, even though he was already in relationship with Angela and that it was the main focus for their characters. But it moved forward his character, their couple and managed to get us an insight into Booth and his issues and into various friendships on the team. It's the same with Angela. There was so much more to her than that silly husband plotline.
