Am I the only person who actually likes that they never found a single character to replace Zack and have instead brought in a wide variety of different supporting characters to fill his role in the lab?

Zack was an interesting character, but, IMO, a lot of the characters they've introduced since his departure have been just as, if not more, interesting.

My favorites through the first half of Season 4 (Production-wise, at least) have been Vincent, Colin, Daisy, and Arastoo.

Well. I thought it was strange at fist, like in the fourth season but now when I try to think of any of the interns being gone I just feel really upset. So no...you're not the only one.

Although I really miss Zack and wish he would return to the show.
He could even hire one of Brennan's assistants to help him.

I wasn't a big fan at first because 1. I missed Zack. and 2. having so many interns kind of confused my head like a lot.

Now that I've gotten to know them it's much better

One of the reasons I think I gravitated to the concept of interchanging interns is because it's very much a reflection of what I think is one of the series' greatest strengths: serialization (it's a callback to the start of Season 3 when she kept refusing to find a permanent replacement for Zack).
