Their bond was so tight, despite only meeting a few months before we all met them during the "first case" that is documented in the 100th episode. They were true friends. Determined to be there for each other. Raising their kids together.
It was remarkable high tight their bond was. Even as they got older, and both found families of their own and spouses. __________________

I loved how when in the 100th's episode, we saw during the first case when Brennan was "temporarily" fired from the case. Brennan knew to offer Angela a job at the Jeffersonian because of her expertise and also because of their friendship, and you saw how they just connected, and Brennan wanted to keep Angela around.
And they just got stronger with time. __________________
