i just saw the promos and OMG, how cute is Booth??? I am so excited to see him jealous

I agree with someone (sorry i forgot who

) who mentioned about Sully asking Booth about sleeping with Brennan, i was shocked too but then again Booth's face was priceless, he got the hots for his partner (busted!!)

Oh and I have to say this : Nerika pointed out earlier that, in JAG fashion, they'll go through many people before they eventually get together, if Bones last that long, that is.
For our sake, I REALLY hope the B/B will be a lot less angsty and exhausting and excruciatingly slow and painful as Harm and Mac were. I mean, they're the king/queen of angst. 10 years before hooking up and countless times where they hurt each other BADLY!

Ok, now back on topic, the episode was really cool because of the Booth insight we got to witness. Even though he didn't interact much with Bones, when he did, it was very revealing of how highly he regards her and how he's become attached to her.
the "My Bones" reference to the jealousy bout when she told him she was doing with Sully what they used to do together.. It's all good for character's growth.

The Sully thing is, imo, not that bad 'cause it might wake Booth up, even though I think he's becoming increasingly aware of how he might feel about Bones and their relationship.

It's going to bite him in the ass : his relationship with Cam brought a certain awkwardness and jealousy in Bones, it's only cosmic balance that it would do the same to him when she's going out with someone

It might be fun to see how it plays out, It's obvious that B/B are meant to be, the fun being in the process of seeing them actually trying to figure out what they really mean to each other and how to get to the next level.

Sully is such a cliché in the way that he's charming, clever, not that bad looking (and bearing a striking ressemblance to Booth) but that's it, he's just too slick.
B/B are imperfect and this is why they click, their flaws, when together, disappear in favor of a symbiotic harmony, imo.

So yeah, Bones gets to unwind a little bit with Sully

but she's smart, she'll figure out that it's not what she's looking for

Shauna, completely agreed about Sully and if he breaks Brennan's heart. I'm just overall curious to see how the whole thing plays out. I have complete trust of Hart Hanson (which might not be a good thing, but we haven't been disappointed yet).

to nerilka! Hey, I used to have a Billy Dean cd somewhere. I might still have it.

And that IS a nice Seebones song. But I HOPE/think this will be different than JAG. Because Harm and Mac were never THE focus of the show. I mean, they were a huge part, but the episodes didn't revolve around how it affected each of them and how it drew them together or how they dealt with it. For the first several seasons, it was all about him and his dad, etc. So it had a different focus. Literally since halfway through the first season, (if not the first episode) Bones has been about Booth and Brennan and how they, as humans and partners, deal with each other and their cases.

And

Court made more icons. They are great, hun!

LisaLeslie, great post. And great point on how Sully can wake Booth up abouthis feelings for Brennan.

And I think the combination of Sully suddenly wanting her, and the shrink, will do that for us. I hope.

and word to what Karen said regarding JAG : Bones is much more character oriented,which is good, JAG lacked character development during the latest seasons, imo...The ending was so rushed...

Maybe I missed something 'cause english is not my language but I read somewhere that Bones will go to the shrink too? Did they talked about that during the ep? 'cause I can't remember it

Not sure if it's speculation or spoiler on the Bones going to a shrink. I don't recall a post about it here, but who knows?
