What really stood out to me about this latest episode was...
Brennan usually makes her decisions based on logic and reasoning. However, with this decision, she even admitted that her logic and reasoning were telling her to go on the trip. So, since she didn't follow her logic and reasoning, it seems that she was following something else...her emotions, her "gut", her heart?! Booth is always telling her that some things can't be explained by logic and reasoning...LOVE is definitely one of those things. It will be interesing to watch...as Brennan will have to eventually recognize that LOVE was the "illogical reason" why she stayed behind. She'll finally begin to understand what Booth meant by "Love...that black magic, that gets you under its spell!" __________________
