^ Totally saw that the second time I watched the episode. Had a little freak out session.

I totally just got a little happier though. Totally saw something in the last scene that made me smile I didn't see before. Someone had to point it out to me...but I really, really liked it.

From what everyone is speculating...HH's non-answer through Twitter...and a bit of my own research/looking...it appears to be a St. Christopher medal.....

Exactly...there isn't a way to know for sure unless HH or SN decided to answer. But, I'm willing to stake...something...on it. That would mean they had some sort of private goodbye before the airport. (which I always kind of thought they did anyways.) But it makes me happy. Very happy.

Contributing to this whole Saint Christopher medal discussion, that had me curious, so doing a bit of "Bones" past episode research, this is the best look of Booth's medal that I could get:

Well, it's not his medal exactly, it's the one he gave to Jared, in "The Beaver in the Otter", however, it seems it's just like Booth's (considering Jared thought it was Booth's at first, and from other glimpses we've had of Booth's medal, definitely looks like an exact match).

I then made a crop of the medal Brennan is wearing for comparison:



And while I hate to rain on anyone's parade, they really don't look like a match to me. However, I'd be quite happy if I was wrong, and it's possible that is some sort of Saint Christopher or religious medal, maybe just not Booth's exactly.

I've looked on Amazon and Google and there are several different types/styles of the St. Christopher medal. I've found one it kinda looks like. Getting ready to post...just have to upload it first.
