Season 6 Speculation Thread #1
 

:wave: Now that finale has aired, it's time to start thinking about Season 6 and speculating and discussing what might happen.

Please remember this is a SPECULATION and dicussion thread, NOT a spoiler thread. If you want to discuss spoilers please do so on the Spoiler Board Bones thread.

So for now ... a few ideas to just start on ...

:star: do you really think it'll be the one year ahead when we join Bones in the fall?
:star: or do you think something will come up that will bring one, two, or more of the cast back sooner?
:star: how do you think Booth and Brennan will react when they meet at the reflecting pool in a year?
:star: what will Angela and Jack do during their year off together?
:star: do you think Sweets and Daisy will get back together when they return?
etc ....

I really hope that Sweets and Daisy get back together!! I think it all depends on whether or not her pilot gets picked up to be honest.

And I think it will be a year. Not 100% on that...but, it would make sense. Who knows.

I don't think it will be a year and I hope it isn't. I think something is going to happen to Booth overseas, bringing him back home. And maybe Brennan hears he's back and comes home from Mocapoopoo. (Or whatever it was called.) :lol:

This is what I've been tossing up for the last couple of hours. :lol: I still haven't decided what i think they will do, or what I want them to do. ;)

I post threads here sometimes. Not to often , usually after a more contriversial eppisode. I have been liking the show less and less lately but watching this eppisode I think that they may have just pulled something amazing.

Think about bones. Without Hodgins and Angela or Booth , Bones, no interns, just Cam and Sweets. Fox could built a whole new show from the ashes. They could fix everything wrong with the show now. Yes, they held on the BB romance to long but this could be the fix.


1 They could start with cam and sweets picking up a whole new team of the best of the best (or the second best) psychiatric evaluations would be cool (an eppisode of nothing but them , showing us the candidates.

2 In my opinion BB have gotten pro at catching murderers. Everything they do... Is flawless. I also think this takes away a little of the show. Mistakes and room for mistake make a show suspencefull. IF BB made a mistake it would be terrible for the show because BB are supposed to be flaweless at what they do.

3 Now they could have a toatally new crew that has the same positions (FBI F.A , Bug Man, artists/computer tech.). They could compare the new charicters to the old charicters witch would be fasinating in itself.

4 They could pull Zach out of prison and have him be the F.A. Hell they could mold him now because hes been out for so long. they could have him as a hardcore dude. and more down to earth They next booth (exept brains for people smarts) . (or leave him the same just saying.)

5 They could start new with the relationships between characters. I know a lot of people on this site will disagree but the relationships in the previous seasons have been getting stale. After bones rejected him things went downhill like they got to the climax and dropped it. Its hard to pick that back up without a lot of time. The producers dont have time they need to entertain the audience not draw things out.
with a new crew they could entertain the audience with new budding friendships while in a sub story showing the BB relationship grow over time.

6 They could have the team miss something in a murder and let a killer walk just to show that the ending is not always a given.

7 As season 6 would be about the new crew season 7 could be about the old crew , all back from there respective trips now being challenged by the new.

Just saying, this could be fantastic.

I don't know, I mean, one year is just TOO long, I'm kind of hoping none of them can stand being apart that long and come back sooner :D I don't know what could happen.....but I really hope they meet again before that :D :love:

I think they'll hug :in_love: that kind of hug you give someone you've been missing like crazy and just couldn't be away from any longer - ok, again this is more of what I HOPE than what I think, lol :lol: :love:

I have no idea....maybe she gets pregnant? hehehe, ok I know that's the easiest, most obvious scenario one could come up with, but that's something I can see happening, hehehe :D

I really hope not, I mean, they've had their cute moments at times, but honestly, I could care less about them :shrug: :lol:

My theory is that they want be apart a whole year. I think season 6 will premier with something big happening and they have to come back together. Not too sure what that something could be. Maybe another serial killer case or since HH has said when it comes back B&B might not be in DC-Maybe Booth stumbles on something (like a bunch of bones..lol) and he's like I know just who to call. Or how awesome would it be if Booth's camp is attacked (Booth is not there when it happens) and Brennan is called in to help identify bodies...thinking Booth could be one of them but of course when she arrives he is there and they have a tearful reunion!
I don't think it's going to jump time...I could be wrong, but they can't stay away from each other that long and even if it is a year...crime fighting is sort of their thing...they just need a little break to realize that. I really think something will happen and the team will have to come back together. Bones will not be Bones without the sexy crime-solving duo!

JessLayne I think you may just have cured my slight writers' block. Do you mind if I borrow your Booths' base is hit storyline?

I rewatched the eppie and I saw the clock and tower of wings from last seaons finale.. soooo. I think its all a dream again...The hoarders junk fell on Sweets or Hodgins and the end didnt happen.. That is what im going with

What tower of wings from the season 4 finale??? I have no idea what that is?
