Brennan is FREAKED by the photo and calls to Booth but he doesn’t recognize the photo. And he says she’s in a hurry, is she alright and she gets in the elevator and tells him she just has a lot of questions. Obviously she’s seeing only herself in the photo when it’s someone else.

And yeah, I wanted Booth to go after Brennan in the elevator, but he clearly saw how upset she was and ASKED but she said she was okay, and he let her go because he believed her when she said she just had a lot of questions. It's not like she lies to him.

But she's sooooooooooo over-connecting to the victim. Poor Brennan.

So sad that Brennan sees her face and hears her voice in the victim. But that scene with her listening to the victim, that music in the background, Brennan sorting through bones at the lab alone … is SO powerful.
