Great theory Andie. I definitely agree on Cam being an obstacle. The writers need something to keep Brennan/Booth apart for some time despite their tension and Cam seems to be the perfect choice to provide just that.

I also agree that Booth might fall for her again, from the season premiere you could tell that there's still tension and intimacy between them (he's still calling her Cam and she's touching him various times throughout the episode. Also the fact that Booth assumes that she took the job at the Jeffersonian because of him is very telling IMO).

I'm very curious to see how the writers will develope her character over the season. As I already said, I'm still on the fence about the character.

Totally agree with you, Andie. I most definitely don't want to see Booth/Brennan together anytime soon... As much as I love their relationship, I wouldn't want to see the show ruined because they threw them together too soon. Besides, like you said, the waiting is the fun part.

Myself, I love the idea of Cam's character... However, I wasn't terribly impressed with Tamara Taylor. Is that just me? I guess I was expecting Cam to be a little tougher, you know? And I felt like the character was meant to be, but it just wasn't there. But it could just be me... I've read most of the spoilers and while I read them, I sort of had to give her a voice. With everyone else, I knew how to read it, but with Cam, I had to kind of create the character myself, so I guess maybe it just comes from that... I'm hoping my opinion of her will change soon, though, because I was really looking forward to this character...

The more I watch Bones, the more I actually like Cam! I know shock horror! I dont like Cam with Booth obviously, but I like her wit sometimes, like the ohhh ahhh she gives Jack when examining the bugs!
She is actually king of funny at times!
Anyone else feel the same?

Brookiez69, I agree . I think she's fitting into the team better now. Not that I'd like her as much as the rest of the Squint squad but she's somewhat growing on me.

She did a good job with her advice to Angela about the date and I think she knows what's going on between Booth/Brennan - her look at the end of the episode was telling IMO.

I think that at first, she was only meant to be there for a handful of episodes, and she was fashioned as such. Now that she's become regular though, they appear to be... fleshing her out, and making her as such has really helped I think. Not just a ploy anymore I've always loved Tamara as an actress, and I'm getting to love Cam too

Moonie, I agree with your comments. They are definitely fleshing out her character now, think about 'The headless witch in the woods' - we got more background info (in her mentioning her mothers death etc).

She's growing on me and her character doesn't feel like an intruder anymore.
