What a great showcase for Eugene Byrd in last night's episode! I think it was his best appearance on Bones! I absolutely adored how he opened up to Brennan in that scene about his girlfriend. Clark is beginning to remind me of the old Brennan----seemingly distant and socially awkward, but with so many layers underneath. I think Brennan is starting to see some of herself in him as well. Their talk will bring them closer as colleagues and friends, and I think Brennan will be able to soften Clark, the way that Booth softened her.

It's so sad.

Is it just me or does it feel like Clark is becoming more involved. He seems to becoming more part of the team instead of being on the same level as the squinterns.
