 My first thought on this matter would be that they captured some sensitive/incriminatory material at one of their jobs and the owner wants it back at any cost... Why on christmas? I'd say someone was searching for them and got to close, so they decided to take action and distract him by running. They probably figured that the children would be somewhat safe (I've no clue why, because IMO the children would have been good leverages when captured). | Interesting thoughts Nad! After watching the last episode... I am wondering about the dolphins all the time Was she just in love with dolphins or do they mean something else? At least the DVD's will be out in Januara and you'll be able to catch up The promo for the new episode looks really interesting and Russ is back, maybe we'll learn more about their backstory this week *crosses fingers*. | Moderator Manager | Max Keenan was back this week and I really enjoyed his scenes with Tempe. Even though their relationship is still rough, I think Tempe is slowly accepting her father a bit more. And while working with him to rescue Booth might not be her first choice - and wrong on many legal levels - in my opinion helped her to understand her dad a bit. I for one am looking forward to see more of the father/daughter relationship in the future - because he still has to tell her about her mother (and what's up with the dolphins, because they seem to have some significance).     __________________ One Ring to rule them all, One Ring to find them, Join the Lord of the Rings Campaign and help us to bring the board back by voting in January! | |||

| Well I remember being told a story when I was younger. It was called "'r Dolffin", which it takes no genius to work out that means "The Dolphin". It may not be exactly as I remember it coz I was originally told it in welsh, so my english interpretation of the symbolic meaning behind the dolphin... *Dolphins are related to water, they symbolise rejuvenation and the "washing away" of the past ETC *They stand for "Rebirth" and the starting of a new life *They stand for freedom and the hope of being completely free someday. If I can remember anything else, I'll add it :] __________________

| Moderator Manager | Kim, that's a great story, thanks for sharing .There was a dolphin on her mothers belt, at her mothers grave and now her father left one for her. Going with the story above it makes perfect sense. - the belt: a symbol for starting a new life as the 'Brennans' - the grave: freedom I think, Ruth/Christine doesn't have to run/hide anymore, she's free in a metathorical way - Tempe's place: 'washing away the past' and I'd say his hope to start a new life and reconcile with his daughter Am I making sense here? __________________ One Ring to rule them all, One Ring to find them, Join the Lord of the Rings Campaign and help us to bring the board back by voting in January! | |||
