It really was. The first episode I saw wasn't the pilot but I was drawn in after watching my first episode.

They really were able to connect together as acting partners so quickly and yet they were able to flesh out the characters as it went along. Booth and Brennan changed over time, but yet they continued to captivate. So many good memories.

Yep, I agree that they got together at the perfect time. You could tell throughout season 6 that they were clearing lots of the obstacles that were in their way of being together.
