The last part of season six is so much easier to watch.

I don't mind the full season, even the Hannah period of the show. Although I fastforward certain scenes. But yeah you sense that they were moving things around to pull the trigger on getting them together. Although if Hannah had a better response among fans we'll never know if she would have lasted longer. It might always been the plan to write her out when they did, and how they did... But it did seem quick, but they started in Doctor in the Photo to bring Booth and Brennan "relationship" back.
And probably Emily's pregnancy did cause them to go completely there when they might have played with the a one night stand, and might not have put them fully together. Have the classic, "what happens the next morning". But the baby storyline allowed them to jump into a show changing and for the good type storyline with them fully. __________________

I did enjoy season 6 but some of the episodes with Hannah definitely weren't my favorite. Once she was gone season 6 got even better and finished very strong.
I agree it would have been interesting how they would have wrote things if Emily didn't get pregnant. __________________

Writing in the pregnancy opened the show to so many new possibilities and gave the show more life but yeah it would have been interesting to see if they had a one night after Vincent's death or another time and did they get scared off or would it cement them. But it did seem that with Doctor in the Photo, they started to really plant in and go there because why reopen the wounds if they weren't going to there in some fashion.
The Blizzard is a classic episode that really allowed them to go there, and talk about it and you knew it was just a matter of time! __________________

Yes it really did. The Doctor in the Photo planted the seeds to us that Brennan was finally ready for a relationship with Booth. And yes once they wrote the dates on the paper and burned them you knew that they would get together soon.

She was starting to go there with the hiatus from the Jeffersonian but she got rejected in a way by Hannah being in the picture so they had to get back to their rhythm together especially after so long apart. But yeah, once they did. You know the epiphany for Brennan was important and it forced Booth to make some decisions. And it rushed his relationship to Hannah to a end... But it opened her eyes, and she needed it.

I am glad she was able to open her eyes and see. The Blackout in the blizzard is a great episode for them and you knew then they would get there someday.

Those kind of episodes really let them shine, and we could see their bond. I believe David directed that episode. He really did a wonderful job!
