I loved that scene as well. It was our first episode seeing Booth and Brennan as a couple.

we did indeed, their great chemistry together was one of the main reasons why Emily was cast as Bones I remember Bones creator & showrunner Hart Hanson once said in an interview that Demily's chemistry together was so strong and spontaneous that the writers didn't need to write anything for them to create chemistry, because they had natural chemistry instantly

I'm glad they wrote Emily's pregnancy into the show both times and that scene with B&B in Brennan's office was significant because that was the turning point in the episode when Brennan finally realised how important it was for them to find a new place together now that they were starting a family
Although I know there are some fans who were actually initially disappointed that the writers had skipped the whole dating process and went straight into writing B&B living in domestic life and having a baby together. Some fans thought their relationship moved too fast and they had waited 6 seasons for B&B to hook up together, and when they finally did, I guess some fans had hoped that we would see more of B&B actually dating each other for a while before they jump into having a baby. But it's not really the writers fault, by the end of season 6, Emily was already pregnant so the writers had no choice but to fast-track B&B's relationship and skip all the early dating process and straight into B&B having a baby together. I personally don't mind that the writers had fast-tracked B&B's relationship, since Emily/Brennan was already pregnant at the end of S6, so the writers really didn't have any choice, I personally don't think we missed much and S7 took place about 5 months after the end of S6, I think that was enough time for B&B to settle into their new relationship and life together as a couple

this is not a kissing scene but I love it so I thought I'll post this anyway



remember this scene? this was from one of the earliest seasons, you can just feel the sexual tension between them I think one of the main reasons why B&B works so well as a couple is because they had great chemistry from the very beginning!
