Dysfunctional {The Brennans} #14: Because we were back Max was back!
t h e b r e n n a n' s Appreciation Thread #14  I’m proud of you, I love you..   Max Keenan Max is the father of Temperance and Russ Brennan. He took the identity of a deceased man named Matthew Brennan and changed the identities of his family to protect them from the violent bank robbers whom he and his wife worked with as career criminals. As Matthew Brennan, he worked as a science teacher. It was worth every second we, had together..  Temperance Brennan Temperance works as a forensic anthropologist at the Jeffersonian Institute in Washington, D.C. She is also a best-selling novelist. Nicknamed "Bones" by FBI Special Agent Seeley Booth, Brennan and Booth work together in FBI cases concerning recently found human remains. She is currently expecting her 1st child with Booth. I know you love me, alright? I can see it even if nobody else can so, that’s something you don’t have to worry about..  What I did to you may have been wrong, but I did it out of love, I did it out of love  Russ Brennan Russ is Temperance Brennan's older brother, whose birth name was Kyle Keenan. After he left home, Russ committed various misdemeanors and felonies, then he worked as a mechanic in North Carolina. Now he lives with her girlfriend Amy and her 2 kids. Marco? ... Polo  Margaret Whitesell Margaret is a distant cousin of Dr. Brennan on her mother's side whom Brennan's father invited to spend Christmas with them in the episode "The Goop on the Girl". I love the Brennan family, love Max and Russ and Brennan's mum was beautiful, what a lovely woman she was, I wish we could've seen more of Russ and Christine Brennan. Russ completely disappeared after season 3, and I know Christine Brennan died before the series started, but I wish we could've seen more of her maybe in flashbacks.
Btw can we make a thread for the Booth family too? I think it would be nice to have a thread where we can talk about Booth's family in general, including Booth's children he has with Brennan. |

I believe the one where she's shot. And Brennan version of "heaven" or the waiting stage is seeing her mother. And it allows her to answer some of those questions...
I would have seen more about Christine Brennan. I suspect when they revealed the twist that her mother was dead, but her father was alive in the Season 1 finale. I don't think they even knew how far they would take the Max twist. It sorta had a life in it's own. And opened so many storyline possibilities. They probably thought they were opening some of Brennan's past. But it only opened so much more... The Brennan's was a flawed and yet very interesting family. And I would have loved to learn more from Christine's side. Max was a fabulous character. I kept wondering how Christine was in versus Max. Given their side buisness when the kids were very small LOL. __________________
