Man...I can't believe it was Zach...but it kind of went fast this season because of the writer strike, they would have more episodes of him being disattached and everything, but of the strike....there weren't tons of episodes. It was suppose to be 28 episodes this season....but that didn't happen. So we didn't see the change in Zach...we saw bits and pieces. But not a lot, and I feel bad that it was Zach, he the most lovable character and everything. I wonder why they wrote Eric off though. It seems like I don't know. But I'm shocked that he's the killer!! His poor hands though, he won't be able to do his job or anything anymore, it's sucks that it was him, out of Booth he was my favorite! It was fast pace and the parts I loved when Brennan punched Booth at his funeral....and than the TUB scene was hilarious! David & Emily must pick those one's to be put it because it's funny!!! There comic relief in it... it was just to good! But disappointed that it was Zach everyone just loved him to pieces....the minute he got back he was scared/different and just out of the blue not really into anything but he was back to his old self in a couple of episodes...it just sad!!! I want to watch the whole entire season again does anyone else think so? If it wasn't for the writer strike they would have written more of the goragmon thing and written more of how Zach became this way. It was an awesome episode...I was thrown off at the beginning though! I was like! Wait what?! But very good, give the writer some props, and the plot line was just amazing. I thought the killer would have been Clark Addison...because that made more sense. but it wasn't...It's gonna be different without Zach, is the actor gone for good does anyone know?

You know the problem sometimes is that all the Bones fans do not appreciate the same characters. Jen you seem to really like Zach as a character, I have personally always appreciate his presence but he is not as important as Angela or BB (even Sweets I would say) in the show right now.
Sometimes the writter have to take tough decisions concerning the future of the show. Some fans can be happy, other not (just look at OTH once more ). That's what can happen unfortunately. __________________

It's not that I loved Zach (or is it Zack? Does anyone know for sure? ), I liked him, but he was my least favorite.
And when it was hinted that it could be Hodgins, I was like, damn, that actually makes sense! And look at the way he's acting! Oh no! I don't want it to Hodgins! Noooo! Then it was Sweets. I was like, yeah, that's been my theory for a while, but I've changed my mind by now, so don't even go there, I know it's not him. Then it was Zach, and I knew they got it right this time (not just because the epi was almost ending ), although it didn't makes much sense (just a little)... I was sad, but at the same time, think about it, Zach is the only one who could get away with it - not with being the apprentice, but with being weak enough to be brainwashed with logic and be the apprentice and still be a good guy, cause he was so naive. I actually felt sorry for him, and I don't think that would have been possible if it was any other person. So, I liked the storyline, I'm just not happy at how they made it. But I know, I have to blame it on the damn strike. =| |

If Hart didn't have time to DO IT RIGHT, he shouldn't have done it! JMO! The real problem is that they followed two totally awesome eppies with this, and this is what we're left with for 3+ months. They should have ended it with Wannabe, as apparently what was intended, then they could have spent time on each of the storylines they tried to touch on here. __________________

I have an alternate better ending. Has anyone suggested this? I just thought this out: Gormogon contacts Zack by proxy to ask him to be the apprentice, he tells him he is watching them all. Zack decides to try to catch Gormy by himself and fakes to agree to be the apprentice. But in order to get to see Gormogon in person and see his home he must prove his loyalty by killing the lobbyist. Zack thinks it is a logical option to reach the greater end of catching Gormy and does it. But he cannot give him to the authorities as the Gormogon tells then Zack that he will kill all his friends be it by bombs or venom he has installed secretly. So Zack keeps on helping. In the end he gets caught and is still guilty of being the apprentice and killing someone, but we know he did it because he wanted to be the great hero and impress Brennan. That would have been even more heartbreaking and in line with his being logical and a whitehat. We still have the same ending but some believable explanation.

There's a great interview at tvguide.com with HH about the Zack situation.

Brennan barges in. Brennan: I need to talk to you. Booth: What the hell Bones? I’m in my house in my tub in my bathroom … Booth: How did you get in here? Brennan talked about the fake rock out front. Asks about beer helmet. Booth talks about Hot tub plus cold beer equals I warm beer Brennan harasss him about the cigar being very unhealthy Brennan: You should have told me you weren’t dead Brennan is SO looking down here Brennan argued about protocol and how they’ve been partners for 3 years and how he’s broken protocol before. Brennan: You clearly have no concern for me. Booth: I took a bullet for you Brennan: Once. That only goes so far. Booth: Fine. Next time I die, I promise to tell you. Brennan: I look forward to it. Brennan: Would you like a towel Booth lowers in tub THE TENSION __________________

Thanks for the link and the bathroom caps! I love how Brennan just barged right in. She had questions and she wasn't waiting any longer for answers
