Maybe one of the reasons he attacked the clown is from pent up sexual tension.

Or because he realizes that he is attracted to Bones but because of the rules that he has established in their relationship he knows that he can't act on his feelings.

Regardless I think that this is going to be a great episode and I am totally excited!

An hour and a half until it starts.

Can I just say how much I did love this eppy, even thought it didn’t really have Booth and Brennan together.

It was still stunning.

And right off the bat it had me hooked. I mean, Booth and Brennan were out for lunch or whatever and he got a call, and she asked if it was about work?

So they were out, on their own together, not work related? *Squeeeeeeeee*

Then the whole ice cream truck incident ….
“You shot my clown!” ice cram truck driver
“Flight number? Okay thanks,” Booth on the phone. Then to Bones “We’re all set.”
“That was not good”, Bones to Booth

Over the phone:
Bones: “I thought you said you’d be down on the next flight.”
Booth: “I haven’t met with the shrink yet.”
Bones: “What shrink?”
Booth: “The department psychiatrist has to sign a piece of paper saying I’m not nuts before I get my gun back. I have an appointment tomorrow.”
He something about her working with Sully, and she said something about having to break this guy in too …
Booth: “And for your information, you never broke me in.”

Brennan to the new guy …. “Booth helps!” when Sully wanted to go look about a boat. Yeah, and he said something about Booth not every relaxing. Nope. It’s that he likes to spend time with HIS Brennan.

Ugh …. Yeah …. Cam and Sully knew each other and were semi flirting, so that creeped me out!

“pornado” …. Gotta love Jack’s terminology.

And Brennan called the Monte guy a Pimp!

That was classic Brennan.

“She’s with me.” Sully. And Brennan wasn’t happy. “Why are you winking? He’s with me.” Bones to Sully …. Yeah she was for sure not into him at this point, and had to put her power over him. But his “yeah, an actual woman” line was waaaaaaaaaaaay too Booth for me. That irked me, because Bones warmed up to him when he said that. But for me, Sully was being too Booth-ish. But everything else about him was so not Booth like. A degree ruin his life? Yeah, that’s not Booth or Bone’s viewpoints.

And Bones pretty much attacking the Monte pimp guy when he started name calling her. Gotta love her.

But <ugh> Sully hitting on Bones and trying to impress her. <gag> <ugh> <gag> He was trying WAY too hard for just having met her.

The father approaching Angela in the diner was heart-wrenching.

“We’re doing whatever, you know, what we did?” or “what we used to do” or however she put it! Bones to Booth over the phone
“I’ll be back soon.” Booth, ah he was JEALOUS that she was doing his stuff with Sully and he wants to be there with her! He could tell she was getting interested in Sully based on her questioning Booth about Sully’s abilities, and he was sooo jealous!

“So what do you and Booth do now?” And he wanted to take her where Booth always did. <gag> How horrible! I sooo don’t like this guy! He was taking sooooooo over Booth’s areas. No holds barred.

But some of the best parts of the show, PERIOD, were especially loved Booth and his shrink. GREAT interaction.
“preparing meat in the garden”

“My partner is a woman. A woman needs my help.” To the shrink.

And it was clear that his shooting the clown was NOT due to Cam or his relationship, which has me thinking the shrink is already picking up on Booth and Brennan’s little tension relationship.

Then verified by …. His insight to why he shot the clown was right there … “My Bones calling me. My partner.”

“Alright. Uh. Me and my partner caught up to this serial killer and he died. And he jumped over that balcony because of her. Sometimes I think he had the right idea. I was holding his arm. I don’t feel guilty about that. I mean Epps is a serial killer. He tried to kill my partner. He threatened my son.” Etc. I think I got the end right. But I loved the bit about sometimes wanting to jump due to Bones. And the shrink talking about how Booth joked too much (always when he talks about Bones, because he doesn’t know how to deal)
“You tend to do things well, don’t you?” “Whatever you aim at you hit.”
Then Booth noticed how the shrink walked away each time Booth answered the phone. And it’s all because of his Bones!

Epps makes 50 kills.

And Booth doesn’t know if Epps fell or if he killed him. “I had him and then I lost him and something happened in between. And I don’t know.”
Booth needed to be talking to Bones about this, not that shrink. That’s the kind of stuff he shares with her. But at least he’s released now to go back to work. And be with HIS Bones, but now she’s already decided to date Sully. <ugh> But can you imagine the angst ahead?

And you know what? This shrink situation has SO made me happy. I knew he’d be seeing a shrink, etc., but I kinda thought it was more because of Epps … but I’m starting to think the shrink will see it more because of Bones.

Gotta love that. I know he talked about Epps, and the resolution was Epps, but all the underlying stuff was Bones.

But we never got our BB ending.

Promos: better get some protection …. “I’m not going to help you get my partner into bed!” oh my GOOODNESS!

the shrink indeed.

For me, the best moments, PERIOD, in this eppy were Booth and the shrink, then his phone calls with Bones.

David really REALLY does a great job, and I get more impressed with each episode.

So, I'm all about BB and it's going to happen someday. And we've had the whole Brennen being weirded out by Booth/Cam. And if Booth needs a push in the right direction... Sully sounds like a great idea, and before you start throwing things at me, here's why:

Sully is a little bit Booth. I noticed the reaction to the "yeah, a real woman" and we're all in agreement that Sully totally stole that attitude from Booth. But I'm not faulting him. Every man wants to be Booth. Esp if it comes with Brennen. BUT! This is where I mark the "turning point" for Brennen liking Sully. Because he acted like BOOTH. So. Yah. That's what I think.

AND! It's about darn time that Booth had some REAL competition. (Even if it is sort of like he's competing with himself.)

I thought it was a great ep. Loved the whole Booth shooting the Ice cream truck and than he goes on about his call. Loved him and the shrink when he said "It wasn't a real one making balloon animals

. I'm sorry just don't like this Sullivan guy, maybe it's because I like Booth and can't see her with anyone else but him. I'm gonna like that Booth is gonna be the Jealous one now. Anyway can't wait til next week. talk to you later

I liked this episode, the team worked well together and Booth was hilarious with his shrink.

Agent Sully needs to disappear, I do not like him.

Sometimes you need someone from the outside to look at things objectively.

I like the Sullivan guy even if he is a means to an end. He is right with what he said, he doesn't let the job consume him like Bones and Booth sometimes let it do. They both need a hobby or something. If Sully can show her that there are other things outside of the job and that she can have a good time, it will be good for her and everyone else. It'll just knock some sense into Booth, give him a shove in the direction we all want him to go.

I agree. For objectivity, you need to be talking to an outside source.

I don't know how I feel about Sully. On one hand, he doesn't let the job consume him, he knows how to have fun outside of his job which is something that neither Bones nor Booth really do. I think that maybe a few dates with Sully will help Bones to loosen up, see the world from outside of her bubble.

And we always knew that Booth had a control thing. But him admiting that he had control and then lost it and didn't know what happened in between is a big thing. Hopefully he will keep opening up and realizing that he can't control every situation. It just not possible.

I LOVED the beginning with the ice cream truck, that cracked me up. The look on Bones' face. That was something else.
