It really fleshes out everyone, and started to close the her issues with her parent's disappearance but it also started a new mystery. Where was her father, and counted down to when we saw Max come into her life.
And everyone banded together, to solve the case. And hated to present her with evidence that went against her assumptions of what happened with her parents... And how Booth was their for Brennan, and you saw their bond grow even deeper! It was a fantastic closer to the first season. __________________

It really was. We discovered what happened to Brennan's mom and now we were curious about what would happen with Max.

One chapter was done, and another was ready to be revealed even if that would bring my details about Max and Christine Brennan. It was a fascinating series finale. And love Booth concern about Brennan's book, and the dedication.

I loved how Booth snuck a peak at Brennan's book. This was one of my favorite season finales of the entire show.

It did hit it out of the park. And the second one really paled in comparison, although it had it's moment.
I truly love the first one. Seeing the gang's reaction to knowledge that it's the remains of Christine Brennan. Or Booth's instinct to call the court and say Brennan wasn't available. And to throw himself into the case. And love how she really started to reunite with her brother. Some of the ice dropped off the wall, and it started to crumble, of how she had held her heart, and the disappointment. __________________

It really showed the show was growing. We were getting to know the characters. And they were banding together, to help a friend and colleague.
Out of the all the season finales, this is definitely on the top list... __________________
