I started right at the end of Season 1, so I had missed a lot of it. I think I saw the Katrina episode live and then found reruns that showcased earlier episodes so I didn't see the first season in it's entirely until I bought the DVD. But this episode really showed how all of them were bonding together, and Booth was showing his determination to be there for her.
It was so damn predictable given the bad guy, and yet they did it a way that made you root for her... And the fact Brennan didn't just let herself be gotten as she tried to fight back, but the other guy just was too powerful. And then the end, when she stays instead of going to her date. They really showed how they trusted each other. __________________

The very first episode that I watched was Widow's Son on the Windshield. I would watch every other episode. I watched Verdict in the Story before I watched Judas on the Pole so you can imagine how confused I was.

That is the thing around reruns is that it can confuse you. Unless you know the lead in so well or the show. So trying to get into a new show can be confusing. Except now with streaming; it's easier to binge watch. But yeah I didn't get the full of Season 1 until I got the DVD. And you could see the progression.

Brennan chatting wow
Sometimes I ask myself how fast they can type on tv (do actors train that?) Wow Brennan never met the guy. Oh work! Jimmy who? What? Angelas knows that guy? Wow! mob stuff? Oh Hodgins! Brennan has a great ponytail! Ah Adam Baldwin! He was so cool on Angel Season 5 and David works with him again nice! Eww the bodies they found in that "hall" creepy! Brennans phone is ringing when she´s working and her "date" is on it Wow is Booth jealous? Dick 431 aha! Oh the date´s name is David! Oh no a shooting! Thank god Brennan is fine! Love the theme song! Oh Brennan is back to the lab right after the shooting or is it the next day already? So Brennan wants to work instead of talking to Booth Zack didn`t clean the scull well enough Brennan shows him Oh the shooting was on the same day. Booth comes into the lab Love their talking More case talking Oh please! Brennans date didn`t do it! Oh Booth is concerned! Aha! That David guy is there at the intarigation room. And Booth is jealous again  (If he only knew he would get Brennan as a girlfriend about six years later *g*)That David guy is kinda nice. Booth doesn`t seem to like it -> So he´s jealous! Ha! Haha Brennan looks after David  Booth doesn`t seem to like it Love Angela and Brennan they´re such great friends Angela wants Brennan to cut Booth some slack -> Love you Angela! Booth and Zack arrive. Zack did the cleaning well  More crime talking Hodgins is playing with dog poop XD Booth *LOL* Ah the agent from the beginning is back! Ah Hodgins and Zack found something! Good work. Hollings? Did me meet him already? Okay... Wow that guy has a lot of keys! Intarigation. Booth is good at this. Eww the pictures! More talking Wow Dr Goodman is smart! Testing which weapon it was.. Hodgins arrives And found something More talking Wow Brennan has some keys too XD But not too much. Of course Brennan is good! Ah Brennans apartment! Booth likes her place! Where is the tv? Brennans tv broke yeah we saw that XD Booth wants to listen to some music! Nice! Booth checking her collection He found something but not the right one... They talk. Booth didn`t expect Brennan likes music oh man XD Ah he found a CD and puts it into the player. Yes! Hot Blooded! I love it! -> And it became their song They dance! So much fun! Damn why does her phone ring in the middle of the song! And why does she talk to him.... Oh please just have fun! Oh no an explosion! Oh no Booth! Thank god he survived! Aww she gives him the pudding. Oh Brennan looks at his x-rays and finds something... Sad story Booth. Oh the agent comes in. They keep looking. They storm Hollings apartment... Brenann finds a plan... Zack calls and found a key Booth watching basketball Oh Hodgins visits Booth! Nice! They talk. Hogins wants the pudding. And he gets it! Nice! They talk and they get closer to something... Booth calls Hodgins not crazy! Sweet! Brennan and that agent driving. Brennan wants to call Zack and the agent turns...evil! Aah Hodgins has a cute car XD How did Booth get in there XD Booth is angry he handed that agent over to Brennan.. Oh that agent is so bad... Oh no the dogs should... Yes! Brennan kick him! I still love Hodgins cute car Ah they arrived at the building. Wow Booth is stubborn! Hodgins comes with him and likes it! Oh of course the bad agent is sorry... They keep looking! Poor Brennan! Hope they find her! Thank god they found her! Aww she hugs Booth  Ah Booth got back to the hospital. Booth saved Brennans life Ah Brennan wants to go to dinner with that David guy.. Booth watching tv nice old movie Oh Brennan stays with Booth! Nice! What a nice end of the episode. __________________

Yeah it's one of those songs that make me think of Booth and Brennan. One of the first episodes where I saw them growing their bond, and the chemistry shining through and you felt like the show would go there sometime in the future...
Of course I saw it later than it actually aired so going back and watching the show in order, you saw other signs but this was really showed it when he rescued her. __________________

I did slightly fall asleep but I enjoy it. I never did trust Booth's cop friend when we first met him.
The debut of Booth and Brennan's song. Whoa, Booth really got hurt, and faught through it. Loved how Brennan did fight. Until Booth got there in time. Booth and Hodgins were starting to bond. Intense and gross body. __________________

I love this episode a lot. Booth getting there in time to protect Brennan. His protectiveness of her in general was great. I love it was the first time we got to see their song.
