Booth at the end when he threatens the Gang leder proves that David doesn't need fangs to be scary. I would never want to be in a position where I was percieved as a threat to him. I think it showed exactly how much Booth cares for Brennan and the chances he's willing to take for her.

Okay a crime scene ...
Brennan and Booth arrive Brennan read a book about improving work relationship interesting Oh they found a body! Wow Brennan speaks Spanish! People leaving! Oh no a shooting! Booth chasing the guy! Damn that guy got away! Booth is angry! Love the theme song as always! examinating Booth interrogating Wow that guy has a lot of tattoos Okay all bones clean Booth arrives at the lab Oh the victim was pregnant... Hodgins loves field work and wants a gun  Ah Hodgins in the car with Brennan and Booth an talks Nice garden. Wow there was another body there!  Loud saw! Sarcasm is never helpful oh Brennan Doesn`t Hodgins have great blue eyes!  Hodgins called shotgun and didn´t get it Brennan loves puzzles nice! Angelas drawing is so goodl! Aah Hodgins found something! Brennans Spanish is way better than mine. Oh no they found a second body. Like I said: Angela can draw so well! Brennan and Booth in a house So there is someone there Oh! A mom and her baby. Brennan protecting the lady and her child Oh the two bodies are daughter and father... "Let´s just pretend we´re Booth." Oh Brennan "Let me try." Yay Hodgins Oh Hodgins doing a Booth impression Angela laughs about it  Brennan visits him in the office Oh the guy from be beginning is hurt Booth wants to deport the kid... Oh that guy is related to the victims Man Booth is tough More interrogation Don´t touch Brennan Kick him Brennan! (Don´t try this in real life!) More interrogation. (in the house) Maria had something with Logan? Okay... What? She got killed because she fell on a bedpost???!???? More interrogation. I love the Angelator! Oh no Maria got pulled off a ladder! Oh Hector Hector Hector! Case closed, Oh Brennan´s kicking had consequences... A funeral... Aah Booth looks for the guy Brennan kicked Hehe Booth defending Brennan He likes her Brennan payed the funeral..generous of her Oh Booth is there but too late and he´s sorry Yeah Booth had something to do. End of the episode. __________________

Truly intense. Wow. The way Booth really went at the guy to protect Brennan. Showed David's range and the show's way of doing intense and comedy, and this episode was drama.
Hodgins was able to go out in the field. He was so happy. Unhappy to be stuck in the back, but happy nonetheless. You really got the sense that you didn't want to cross Booth. __________________

I loved David’s acting in this one. So protective of Brennan early on.

The range he could play. I never saw it in his early roles in Buffy and maybe he grew a bit in Angel (but I left that show early on). But wow, Bones really allowed him to show what he was capable of.
And this scene was standout because he definitely was scary, and even though it was early on, you know there was a line he would cross if it was for Brennan. __________________
