My mom and I plan on introducing my sister and brother-in-law to Bones and while I would've loved to see the first episode, this episode is also very cool.

Watching it again. Has some of my fave moments ...
- Bones driving the mustang rental car
- Booth hiring a hooker with Bones' phone
- Bones and Booth making the "we like it that way" conversation

just saw it again, too here's what I liked:

- Zack saying somethin along the lines of "it was actually Hodgins quoting you, so, it was all of us. go team!" Eric's face was so PRICELESS when he said that!
- Booth talking to Lesley and the security guard walking up to kick her out. He defended a complete stranger without knowing the full story. Gotta his protective nature!
- the whole scene with the doc who performed the breast inplants. When he looked at Booth and Booth said, "No, I like my face the way it is." I said to myself, "So do we, sweetie. so do we."

And everything Karen said, too! Not much to add other than that.

I loved the scene where Zack realized the same tool used to killed the girl had been used on her plastic surgery and her goes:

"This is the kind of situation where people say 'Oh, my God.'"

"Pretend you're a person and say it," syas Hodgins.

"Oh, my God."

I loved that.

My sister and brother-in-law didn't watch it, but really if they did and did like it I'd feel so bad. Bones is up there with GG and Sorkin shows: too good for them.

I cracked up with the comments Brennan was making in the waiting room

Janet: I totally forgot that scene in the waiting room! And DB was reading 'International Woman', I think.

One scene people never mentiooned:

When Finn asks Booth about why he doesn't like her. As soon as I saw DB putting his hand on his hips, I *knew* he was ticked off. He had such conviction about his job there. to see that!

I noticed the magazine had the word "woman" written in a huge font, otherwise I didn't notice that point.

I really liked the ending, I'm actually listening to Precious right now (It really is the perfect song for the show)

Sunny, that scene is cracking me up every time . And that tool looks real creepy to me .

Janet, Brennan's comments in the waiting room were hilariousl. Not to mention her "I'm not above telling Deputy Director Cullen what kind of car you rented"

Francie, I have to admit that Special Agent Finn's behaviour got on my nerves . The way she was talking about being a screen writer (?) herself and so on... No wonder Booth didn't like her, she wasn't acting like a professional. That's not fitting well with his definiton of being an FBI Agent I think.

And I love that Booth got on her case about treating "my Federal Bureau of Investigation as a stepping stone to something better. Because, in my book, there isn't any better."

Now, I'm generally not very possessed with any sort of "police/armed force"-type inclinations. But I literally went "woo-hoo!" when he said that.

Sunny, I know. The first time around when I saw that moment, I was proud of Booth for standing up for his job. He and Bones both seem to have that same ethic about it.
