This is one of my favorite episodes. We got to learn Booth had a son, we learned more about Brennan’s past and why Christmas hurt her so much. I loved the end when she finally opened the presents too. Always gets to me.

She was starting to reengage with the past. She might have the answers, but it allowed to accept that it happened, and to open those gifts.

It was a perfect bottle type episode. Where everyone is stuck in one location. And because it was at the start of the series. We got to see a lot of insight on everyone...

It took me a long time to realize the meta moment they did with Angela's father. Didn't recognize him immediately. Later I found out.

I loved that we got to know more about all of the characters. I felt it was one of the first episodes we really did. Now I want to go and re watch it. That ending scene always gets to me for some reason no matter how many times I watch it.

Loved this Christmas "bottle" episode. Where everyone was together, and we got to learn about the characters and secrets start to emerge. Love that Brennan was so into finding the last love, to allow the truth to come out.

Love how shocked Hodgins, Angela and Zack over the tidbit about Parker.

It did come out of left field.

This episode is one of my favorites of the whole series from start to finish.

I love Brennan at the end finally opening the gifts from her parents. Part of me always wondered what was in those packages.

Me too. I wonder what they would have been. Such a wonderful episode. We saw so much about them, and the individual presents that the gang gave each other. Loved that little robot. And Hodgins really got Angela.

The layers were beginning. We could understood her abivalence about the holiday. For years it would be similar for her. But thankfully she had the ability to celebrate, and solve a case and give closure, which she was still unable to do for herself.

I liked seeing her backstory unfold. I feel when she opened the presents at the end and just opening up about why she had trouble with Christmas was the start of her healing.
