It really captured everyone so well, and made you want to see how it would all start to come out. The chemistry for everyone was already there, and it was exciting to see how they would interact together...

It's one of those rare pilots that gets even the small things so perfect from day one, and makes you want to stick around and see what happens. The characters are fun and engaging, and you have the chemistry between Booth and Brennan that really sell it, but the others are so quirky you want to continue to watch.
And it was a 12 year journey, so it is fun! __________________

I don't tend to watch the commentary because it can sometimes take from the beauty of a episode. Although added information is always interesting... The pilot was so well done.

Starting my semi annual rewatch. Saw the pilot tonight. Still holds up, and wow, the scene between Booth and Brennnan at the shooting range. The chemistry pops off the screen. If they hadn't planned on one day of pairing Booth and Brennan, that scene told you, they should...
The cast clicked so well, and geled from the beginning. While with time they sanded off some of the edges, but still, you really saw a group of people who bounced off each other well. __________________
