Just saw this episode.

Loved everything about this episode.

Hodgins was great and I'm glad that his brother is going to be able to stay in the place that he has called home. Hopefully we get to see him again because his interactions with Hodgins were amazing.

Booth was remarkable, wanting to give the money to Hodgins and then when Hodgins turned him down, he still wanted to use the money for a good cause.

It was interesting how they explained the secret brother. Because so much of Hodgin's personality was based on being a only child, and the last in the line and his issues with his family money. It really stung him to find out such a secret. And to make a full brother, and not like a secret half brother. He really wanted to get to know him, and to see how ill he was...

And the sideeffect of Pelant stealing the money. That the institutions fees would eventually dry up, and so they came looking for Hodgins. That was a major bombshell for him.

Yeah I loved how Booth did offer the money. I figured that was coming. But good of Hodgins to say no, that he wanted him and Angela to find a way.

Hodgins suddenly finding out he wasn't an only child. Wow. His parents really went to their graves without telling their son a major part of their family. I guess they figured the money would be pay out each month, and there was no need to tell Jack. Could be why Hodgins was wary about he and Angela having more children in the coming years.

He was trying to be there for Jeffrey. I am glad they were able to connect there for a little while.

Booth's still put out by the different financial status levels of him and Brennan. Brennan thinks nothing of a 75,000 check LOL.

It was nice they decided to give it to charity.

I guess that was the only way they could do it because such a part of Jack's personality is that he was a rich only child. We didn't know much about his family. And this was such a shock. And one more worry for Hodgins and Angela as they dealt with their new financial realities.

I liked how Fisher was able to help Hodgins see that his brother was lucky to have found Jack, whether Jack was still grasping at the new realities.

Yeah, 75,000 is nothing to sneeze at, and Brennan just didn't bat an eye. Yeah, I wish I had that luck.

It was such a shock to find out this secret that he never knew about. It was interesting to see how Hodgins and Angela handled this new situation.

It was a such a shocking secret. At least they went with it was a shock to Jack as well. And to know his parents did not tell him at all. We do not know when they died. But surprised he never picked up any mention. And of course the wealth allowed for the care to continue until everything exploded for Hodgins.

You felt for Hodgins. His whole identity was about being a only kid.

And it was interesting to look at Booth and Brennan's new financial status due to the recent marriage. Whether they would have a joint account. Booth being weirded out about such a big check.
