I just watched this episode, and I LOVED it, although it was sad when Vincent died.

It's so weird how the last episode made me both sad and happy all at once?
BB finally gets together which is amazing and I am still squeeing over it but still, I'm like extremely upset that Nigel-Murray had to die. I was so so sad and the poor thing didn't want to die. It was just so tragic. I love though how they honored him at the end by singing Lime in the Coconut. That was awesome.

Just an observation, slightly OT - has anyone else wondered whether there is a possible connection between Brennan's claim in The Parts in the Sum of the Whole that she "can't change" and the title of the finale?

I LOVE that they did that. Yes, I'm dying to know, too, what really happened between Bones and Booth but I just love the way they left us guessing and wondering, the way they did it I think it's perfect! (:

I don't know if anybody wrote this but, in this episode the clock was showing 4:47, just like in the episode, where Booth was dreaming that he's with Brennan (season 4, finale episode)

I was checking out BonesWikia on the Wikia website that they have a Bones TV series page: The Hole in the Heart - Bones Wiki

They have a list of episodes and I was looking up "The Hole in the Heart" episode. In which under the notes it says 'As Booth draws his weapon when Brennan enters his bedroom the clock shows the time as 4:47. That coincides with the opening sequence of The End of the Beginning episode'.

So I figure we can watch 'The Hole in the Heart' episode up until the scene with Booth and Bones lay back on the bed together and then we can switch over to watch the beginning of 'The End of the Beginning' episode to get the FULL effect of what happen LOL (there's your sex scene guys)
