BB seemed to connect more with this case bc it was Booth's sister's friend who was the victim

I agree about Cam/Hodgins/Sweets/Angela. they were all great in this ep. esp the end lol.

Wow, I really loved the episode!

Of course I wish there was a little more BB but the ending scene was amazing. The way Booth said "This is worth it." was like his subtle way of telling Brennan he loved her.

I would have bet all my money that the Doctor was a woman! Man was I wrong!

I also really liked that BB seem to connect with the victim like they actually felt sorry she died. Overall great episode!

4x23 The Girl in the Mask

Ah Brennan likes Vincent and Booth likes Wendell and Brennan is taking Booth’s opinion to heart.
Brennan: Well I’ve decided to take your opinion into account as I make this decision.
Booth: Really?
Brennan: I’m making an effort.

And Brennan, me thinks, is impressed with Booth’s relations with other agencies. She seemed to like his relationship with the Japanese police, and the smile on her face when he was car phoning in the favor, and the way she thought it was nice that the cop of the scene waited on the car for them. LOVED it all.

Booth: Bones, what we usually do here is wait for people in proper boots!
Bones: Okay Bones get out of there. Let’s go.

Ken: You are a lucky woman Dr Brennan
Brennan: To work with Booth, I know.
Ken: To work with Booth, yes.
Did you see her smile? Amazing.

Booth: You’re a pimp. I don’t like pimps.
Brennan: He really doesn’t.
Booth: No.

Pimp: Is that shiny enough for you?
Booth: Excuse me?
Brennan: Booth? Okay, come on.
Awwwwww these two are just so … don’t enough know how to explain it. The way she’s almost protective of him. Adorable.

Jack: I rarely find motive in bird vomit!
Great line!

LOVED how sensitive Brennan was with Ken. How she approached him when he was having trouble with his sister’s remains, and how she told him he was distracting to their work and it would be better if he waited elsewhere. Amazing the way that Brennan was so sensitive.

Brennan asked masseuse who much she charged.
Booth: Bones, no.
Brennan: It seems way to much. Her knowledge of the skeletal and muscular system seems minimal at best.
Booth: She’s not that type of masseuse. So –
Then later she took over the massage!
Booth: Bones, she a happy ending masseuse, okay? A happy ending!
Brennan: Ohhhh
Ha! So freaking cute.

And Brennan telling Ken it would have been nice to have had a brother like him. Ah, and she looked up the call logs that she called every day sometimes twice a day and the average call was 15 minutes. Such a poignant scene.
Brennan: I myself have no one in my life whom I talk to that much, outside of work I mean. Perhaps that is good.
Ken: How so?
Brennan: I can see how much pain you are in. Is it worth it? To have your own happiness so contingent upon another human being?
Ken: If I was willing to give up my life for Sashi why would I not be willing to risk my happiness for her?

Brennan: You were kind of mean there Booth.
Booth: The man’s in deep pain Bones. Makes it hard for him to hear.
Brennan: I’ve never heard of grief affecting auditory acutance.
Booth: Medical fact. Look it up.

And the scene with the interrogation and the way that Booth was upset by the potential deal, and grabbed the man … the way that Brennan watched him, near tears in her eyes. She’s so smitten, so into Booth right now. This is FREAKING exciting.

Ken mentioned his sister’s reincarnation …
Brennan: That is highly improbable …
Booth nudged her: But I hope that it’s true.
Then the guy said he was forever in Booth’s debt and Booth said a Japanese beer would be fine. And Brennan was so funny, stating she liked Saki. Saki was fine! Cute.

And loved Angela ‘finding out’ if the anthropologist was male or female. With that OVERT hug. So freaking hilarious.
Angela: It moved. He’s a guy.

End scene:
Booth: Look at that huh? It’s good for what ails you!
Brings over a banana split.
Brennan: Usually in this situation we have alcohol.
Booth: Which is exactly why we should do this from time to time.
Spoons a mouthful in her mouth while making airplane noises.
Booth: Yum. Here you go.
Brennan: While he recover? Ken?
Booth: From loosing his sister? Well you don’t recover from something like that. You just survive.
Brennan: People die. There’s a fault in the design if we can’t recover from it.
Booth: Fault in the design? What are we? Coffee pots?
Brennan: I just mean that we should be designed that we can handle the worst
Booth: We are designed that way. We aren’t sent anything we can’t handle.
Brennan: I’m not convinced that loving someone is worth it.
Booth: I had a son. That’s worth it.
Brennan: Even if he died?
Booth: Woah, Bones, don’t even say anything like that. Don’t even put that out there. It is worth it. And everything around it is worth it. Every moment. Everything … is worth it. So eat the ice cream before it melts.
Brennan: I wish it was beer.
Booth: Right you know what?
Gets up and gets beer out of his fridge.
Booth: Okay, you’re right.
Brennan: Now this is what I’m talking about.
They clink beer bottles.
Booth: We agree to understand that this is worth it.

Ok, I admit that I thought the boy/girl storyline was kinda funny. But towards the end, I was just like this is getting old.

I love the fact that Booth was so respectful when he was in Japan. He really is a real man among boys. It makes me wonder if he didn't adapt so well to London is because the one guy was trying to sleep with Bones all the time.

I understand that Bones is very logical and has been hurt very badly in her past. But after the moments she spent with the brother and she likes and respects him. Why would she start talking about how is beliefs aren't possible. There have been so many moments where she starts to say something and someone stops her. You would think that she would have learn by now to just stop while she's ahead.

I really liked Booth and Brennan in this episode. They are such good characters.
