Took me a little while to get used to Cam. Especially seeing her and Brennan butting heads. She was never going to be a good choice for Goodman's job but for them to come back from a very rare not work related vacation to find so much changed.
And then to know Booth had a history with her... So, it took a little time but she was a great addition. You see why she was a important character for the Lab. __________________

I rewatched the episode so it´s not as weird as it was when I first watched it. __________________

Yeah it's not as bad once you watched the episode multiple times. But at the time, and still now to go from Goodman to Cam and her quirky names for people which she settled down on after a few episodes.

Such a change between Goodman and Cam. You still need a little bit of time to get used to her way of things, no matter how many times I see the episode. You can see why she got the job. Brennan would not have been a good choice.

I admit I did not like Cam at all when she was first introduced. Sometimes going back and watching the early episodes of her I still don’t like her much then. I grew to like her later on of course.

After those first few episodes. Especially once she and Brennan have their meetings of the minds. And she stopped trying to please, and those initial nicknames. I came to accept her more, and she really grew from there...
Even watching over again, and knowing what we know... still it takes a bit to get used to Cam. It was similar with Sweets, when you're getting used to someone new. __________________

I agree. Even in re watches I still find it hard to watch Cam at times. Even knowing what I know.

It's always hard to get used to new people. Even when you ulitmately get used to them, especially when you watch the early episodes, and then transition to such an abrupt change.

She did. As she got used to her surroundings, and I am sure working with scientific minded people, and especially Brennan, takes time to get used to. But as time went in, she settled in.

Subtle changes to the new season. No Goodman, now Cam and of course Brennan actually goes on vacation and comes back to all these changes.
Cam, you had to get used to her. She had a way of doing things. She gave a different presence to the show. __________________

I did not like Cam at first. It took me almost most of season two to warm up to her. I missed Goodman.

They were trying to flesh out what kind of character she was going to be, and especially since the intention was that she was not to go stay or live past the Epps fallout. They changed their minds with how it was going, but yeah, they definitely were trying to figure out how it was going to go.
She was trying to fit in, and it was unnerving in the beginning. __________________
