Average 5 Month Post Count = 325.50 per day

250,000 - 248,504 = 1496
1496 / average 325.5 per day = 4.6 days

But the last three months we've been doing more like 356 posts per day average. If we stick at the higher posts per day average ....
1496 / 356 = 4.2 days away

But I wanted to get a party planning thread up so we could start brainstorming what we want to do as a whole for the 250K post, and our big 25K party thread.

We post way more than an average of 235 a month. Is that not daily average?

I'd say end of Feb beginning of March.

Either way I cannot wait for 250K posts.

Just brainstorming here ... and as we all toss out ideas I'll compile and edit on this thread (or please Shauna and Lisa) work on editing and compiling in the Opening Post for us ... and yadda yadda ...


Things I've seen on other boards or we've done on boards I post at, etc:
- 250K icons
- 250K banner(s)
- someone screencap the actual 250K post and/or the spot on the TV Shows Current section that shows 250K posts
- fun facts about the board (when we were founded, original mods, anything we find interesting)
- facts about the show
- testimonials from posters



I figured we can come up with WHAT we want in the 250K thread.
Then we can get volunteers who want to do any of it.

I transposed the numbers. It's 325 not 235 .... but that IS a monthly average from the calculations that are done. But I think it'll be sooner as well, not 4 months out but 2 or so. Just because the past month or two we're posting SO MUCH more than before.

If you say it's right it is, I trust you but that seems so low, I feel like we post more than that. We will definitely get it before 4 months. Especially with some 100th promo stuff.

we need 1496 posts ..It will be a week more or less..at latest .. I know we are posting more that 300 someithng a month.. We post in the thousands a month..
The first number is total for month the second number is daily average.

you all are right. The # posts is average per day ... I am SUCH a complete idiot. I was at work compiling this and distracted. Let me get the first bit corrected and post again.

ANYTHING you all want to do ... for the 250K ... I guess just pm me and I'll do my best to get everything compiled and ready. We can decide if we want to get the thread up 'early' in case I'm not online when we hit 250K and HOPE that one of our great folks can record the image. We'll see.

I'll start on some banners/icons ASAP.
