I think if he had stayed at the hospital. Time would allowed his body to heal a bit more but because he felt this need to solve the crime, to get justice for Aubry who was fighting for his life after saving Hodgins. Aubry landed on him right to protect him, so the extra weight and of explosion cause it all to sit dormant because he was able to move at the beginning...
Because he didn't stay in the hospital. He was taking the asprin when feeling the pain, more than your average dose which allowed to make it worse... __________________

Him taking the asprin did not help at all. I think personally somebody should have talked him into staying longer at the hospital.

I agree someone should have convinced him to stay in the hospital longer.

He should have stayed in the hospital. But he felt like he needed to help solve the case for Aubry, but given he was still so sore. He at least should have stayed at home, and rested or stayed in the hospital and they might have seen the extent of the injuries...

I didn't like the twist for Hodgins and Angela but it did test them, and allowed them to become stronger for it. By those early days was difficult, and it was such a shocker of a mid season cliffhanger.

Yeah that was a shocking twist that I certainly didn't see coming. It was very challenging for Hodgins and Angela.

It really tested them, and showed their love for each other and their commitment to each other was absolute. It was hard to watch, but it was a twist that shook things up for them.
