Ryan appreciation: without him there would be no board

I noticed there was no place for just Ryan. It's something all of us come here for and a place where we can all come to talk about the guy we love!

Well, I first became a Ryan fan during MMC then reunited with him in Breaker High. Having him in Remember the Titans drew me back in but Murder By Numbers sealed the deal. I do love The Notebook but I must say I love some of his other movies more, I mean, I bawled I thought he was adorable and insainly sweet. However, I love Murder By Numbers a whole lot. I still have yet to see a couple of his movies, I think I'm gonna go to Blockbuster so I can rent them. Anways post away Ryan fans. If you want I can make a list or shipper name or whatever lol.

I just love that hat on him.

I first saw him in The Believer in a film class and I was just blown away by his talent, so I rented The Slaughter Rule and Murder By Numbers... my fate was sealed.

He's always the best thing in everything he does and he just seems to have some type of chemistry with everyone he works with. I just wish he'd work more -- it seems like the most talented actors are always the ones who do the fewest films, while the hacks of the world pop 'em out like discount gumball machine.

Oh I know exactly what you mean, it's good that he is young though and has plenty of time to make movies. Look at James Dean though (not counting him dying) he was still very famous for only 4 movies. I was on IMDB and someone had said they were getting mad because he was getting all of this fame and I was just like :jawdrop: He's getting it cause he's such a good actor. Be happy dang it! I'm gonna go rent/buy, not sure yet whatever I can find it for, United States of Leland cause I havn't seen it yet but it looks like its really good.

Hey, I'm slowing making my my way through some of the threads of the board. I first saw Ryan in Breaker High, I loved him in that. Then I remember watching a few eppys of Young Herecles, I can't really remember much of it. I kind of lost track of him, I have seen Remember The Titans, but I see need to see Murder By Numbers. I think that I will do that soon, anyways I became back in with him with The Notebook

I remember him from MMC and then saw him again in Remember the Titans and Murder by Numbers. But The Notebook is defintley my favorite of what I've seen. I still have to go and rent his other movies.

I think I saw Ryan in "Young Herecles" but never really watched it. Loved "Remember The Titans" & thought his character was sweet - But it was "Murder By Numbers" that got me, man I was thinkin his character was a real weird-o but I loved watching him in the film & then I saw "The Notebook" & it was like Ok, I liked him before, but, now I really like him
I can't wait to see him in "Stay", with Ryan Ewan & Naomi it's bound to be good

lol I loved him before but the flame was burning in and out. It just depeneded on when I was reminded of my love and watched a movie with him in it. My friend and I, whenever she comes over and we want to watch a movie we always pick a Ryan move lol. She, like me, liked him from MMC. But like I said on the MMC board the episodes I have recorded don't have a whole lot of him, maybe if Ryan gets really big they'll create a DVD for Ryans best MMc moments or something... then everyone can see him at such a young adorable age lol.

I would love to see him in MMC, because the youngest I've seen him in was Breaker High. I believe that was about 7 or so years ago, so around 17 or 18. The age that we are now

Never saw Breaker High, I don't think I'll really get I chance to ever see it but I've seen some pix

I really want watch Murder By Numbers again - I thought I was a lil weird for thinking that his character, a killer, was hot then I came over to Ryan board & felt better because I wasn't the only one

It was a Canadian show, so I'm not exactly sure if BH was shown anywhere else

I first saw Ryan in Young Hercules, I thought he was a really cute kid, then saw him again in Murder By Numbers and thought he made a pretty interesting psycho... I also saw him in Remember the Titans and was like, hey, it's THAT guy! I didn't get to watch neither The Believer nor United States of Leland (stupid distribution companies!!), but all the people's comments make me think I'm really missing out on something.

Then one night I went to the cinema and there was a trailer for this new movie, and in it I saw this guy hanging on a ferris wheel and saying, "alright, alright, we'll go out!" and that was love right there. The rest is history folks!

Breaker High was on UPN (I believe) during my Elemtery-Jr years of school. I'm not canadian nor do I live in Canada. It is now shown on WAM I believe. Sadly it only had one season.
