Only God Forgives is being released on Blu Ray/DVD on Oct 22. No word on extras yet but if I find any further info about them I'll post it here.

I know it's violent (not normally my preference); but, I am looking forward to seeing this one because of the use of lighting and aesthetics. I don't expect Ryan to say much, but he's nice to look at, too!

I finally got around to seeing this on VOD and those that described it as Valhalla Rising with Drive's cinematography were dead-on.
It's not something I'm probably ever going to watch again or will champion as great, but it was worth taking in once and it was certainly an artistic risk that I can appreciate all involved at least trying to take. |
