I remember driving my whole family crazy just to go and see this movie. And I remember everyone hating him with a passion and me laughing whenever he licked someone's face

He did an amazing job, and he had the needed chemistry with Michael Pitt, both were very very great.

I always thought Richard was a little in love with Justin...

But seriously, Ryan did a wicked good job portraying Richard. He can be really crazy but still have this quality that makes you love his character.

this was in my top 3 ryan movies along with Believer and the notebook for sure...

Him and Sandy WERE HOT in this movie.... It was perfect for him

Ryan did such an amazing job in this movie. I really like it, Richard was this insane asswhole kid but you still kinda liked him...I kinda felt bad because I almost *wanted* him to get away with the murder....

This was the first role I think I ever saw Ryan in; it's definitely the first role I sat up and took notice of him. He was wonderfully creepy in this movie; his character really stayed with me. He also had some really interesting chemistry going on with Sandra Bullock.

lol me and my friend are completly in love with this movie. She came over one night so we could watch a chick flick and after looking at all my movies we were like screw that lets watch murder by numbers again! lol

He really did... so much more than what she had with her actual love interest in the movie.

Yeah I also heard that they dated after filming Murder by Numbers.

Anyway, the movie's just OK for me... the ending is kinda whacked. But what I REALLY LOVE about the movie is Ryan Gosling and Michael Pitt. Ryan was clearly awesome in this.

What I liked about the ending was that you assumed that Richard had done the killings, but that it wasn't him but Michael Pitt's character. I think it just added a WTF kinda thing. You thought you had it figured out but then you didn't.
