Aw, Ryan.

Sigh. Maybe there's another role out there he can still do while he's pleasantly plump.

I'm sure there will be but it depends if Ryan would like to do it too though.

NOT SO LOVELY: Susan Sarandon says she was saddened by Ryan Gosling's abrupt exit from The Lovely Bones.

The Oscar-winning actress is currently filming Peter Jackson's adaptation of the acclaimed best-seller in Pennsylvania.

The weekend before cameras rolled, Gosling left the project. He later told Parade magazine that while Jackson is an "incredible filmmaker," he felt too young to play the grieving father of a murdered girl who witnesses the events following her death from Heaven.

"There's no dirt, really," Sarandon tells Sun Media. "I just don't want to get into it ... We worked with Ryan for a few weeks, rehearsing."

I was really disapointed when I heard this news. I read the book before Ryan was cast and was tentatively looking forward to it, when Ryan was cast it seemed way more likely that it was going to be a good adaptation. But without Ryan I don't have much hopes for it.

Even though I don't know what the real story is, I'm just going to be petty and blame Peter Jackson.

I believe that the reason was due to creative differences. But it really was cutting it really close. Yeah I still think that it does in a way have to do with Peter Jackson's view of how his character was supposed to look. Yep we are all very sad about it.
