I don't think I'll be able to wait for the 1 with all of the extras either. I've only ever seen it online and I know there are differences between that version and the version that was in theaters. So I'm really anxious to see this in high quality on DVD and see the differences as well. So it looks like I'll be buying the bare bones DVD and the 1 with the extras as well. Because who knows when that will be out?

I hope they will have time to do it while filming in Bangkok. I love the fact that Nicolas is a DVD fan though, which can only means that the deluxe edition will be great!

That would be a good time for them to hammer something out, if they can find the creative space to do it.

Given how awesome stuff like the Movieline interview was, a joint film commentary between them could be epic.

The two are very cute together, kind of like high school buddies. They did some Q&A in Cannes too and they have some wonderful chemistry together. A very nice bromance

They are going to shoot OGF for 5 months. Hope they find some time to do it.

Just saw this on bluray.com:

In an early announcement to retailers, Sony Pictures has revealed that it will release on Blu-ray Danish director Nicolas Winding Refn's (Bronson, Valhalla Rising) Drive (2010), starring Ryan Gosling and Carey Mulligan.

Update: The Blu-ray presents the film in its 2.39:1 original aspect ratio with 5.1 DTS-HD Master Audio sound. The disc also contains a number of bonus materials, including:

Five behind-the-scenes featurettes: - Drive Without A Driver: Talking with Director Nicolas Winding Refn
- I Drive
- Under The Hood
- Driver and Irene
- Cut To The Chase

Street date is January 31.


So it seems that there will be some extras on it after all.
