Aww a long wait for this Ryan movie. It is pretty sad to hear since we haven't seen anything else from Ryan lately.

I haven't seen any.

There's still no specific official release date, though it'll likely be in early 2009.

Jarecki, who landed a documentary Oscar nom for 2003's "Friedmans," will make his narrative feature debut with the drama "All Good Things," starring Kirsten Dunst and Ryan Gosling. Based on a unsolved true crime case, the film centers on the heir of a New York real estate dynasty who falls for and marries a beautiful woman from the wrong side of the tracks.

"It was less about wanting to do a narrative feature vs. a documentary and more about the merits of this particular project," says New York-based Jarecki, who is editing the film, which was financed by Michael London's Groundswell Prods.

Jarecki admits that, in some ways, he sort of did make a documentary with "All Good Things."

"We shot hundreds of hours of footage about this case, about the couple," says Jarecki, who is mulling a number of narrative scripts for his next project but also anticipates returning to the documentary field in the future. "It was part of the process. Maybe it will end up on the DVD some day."

I'm torn about wanting it to hurry up and be released and not wanting it to come out too quickly, since obviously it's the only thing he's probably going to have in the can for awhile...

Nothing really new, but:

Quote:
In the 1980s, the scion of a New York real estate dynasty (Ryan Gosling) falls for a beautiful girl from the wrong side of the tracks. But the fairy tale ends when the girl disappears. As a down-and-out detective stumbles on info that may lead to the truth, the political stakes get higher and people close to the case end up dead.

En Vedette:
Ryan Gosling, Kirsten Dunst, Frank Langella, Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Philip Baker Hall

My feelings exactly... but I'm thinking... how many times can I watch Half Nelson, Lars, The Slaugther Rule, Stay, TNB, The Believer, MBN, USOL... I mean, I need sth new... but yeah... i wish he was working as much as Rachel seems to be working... have you noticed she's shot like 4 movies already this year? (State of Play, TTTW, Sherlock Holmes one and The lucky ones...)

Well he has been working on his music and I guess he still hasn't found that many movies that really interested him.
