Agreed. I actually never knew Evangelista was Canadian and only discovered a few years ago that Jim Carrey was born in Canada.

I didn't really know where to post this, but came across an interview with Chris Pine & Elizabeth Banks (during promotion of People Like Us), where they make fun of the fact that they're both good-looking white actors who don't look like anybody else. Chris jokingly says that his name is Chris Evans (and later Chris Klein), and Elizabeth in turn refers to herself as Rachel McAdams.

The conversation starts at around 1:30 in the video, but it's worth watching the whole clip.
