I went look for pix of it & it looked so familiar then I knew I must have watched it.
I was one of those kids who was so into cartoons that I watched almost anything that appeared on the screen

There were rumours of it being turned into a film back when there was that 80's TV show rival – Rachel might get her wish

I loved the ones in the early 90's, especially the Nickelodeon shows.

Rachel on figure skating:

"I loved figure skating, that's what you do in Canada! We have a plethora of ice, so we might as well use it,"

Rachel on highschool:

"I mean, I joined the student's council in my last year of school, just so I had a place to go at lunch, which is sort of pathetic. But there was an office that I had the key to, because I hated the cafeteria experience, and I didn't have time to go home at lunch, and I felt sort of young and silly walking home just to eat lunch. It wasn't the only reason, but it wound up being quite a crutch to pull away for the lunch hour while everyone else - because the cafeteria I think was a lot like the cafeteria in the film, where everyone stuck to their own table and if you didn't belong at that table you would never sit down, you'd never sit down at a table where you didn't belong. It was just unheard of. So that dreaded walk was like the death march through the cafeteria. So I just stopped doing it altogether."

That last one is a bit long, but I think she describes high school realistically and can make everyone relate to her in some way.

I've never heard of Thundercats either, but I would have loved to hear Rachel break out into a song.

Hee, I like how she managed to use the word plethora. I never hear anyone say that anymore. I would love to see her figure skater. I suck skating on ice.

I like her quote on highschool. I do agree to a certain extent on how she describes high school really well, but I haven't had the real chance to actually have a cafeteria. It's so different in New Zealand, but I can see where she's coming from.

Dearest Cecilia, the story can resume. The one I had been planning on that evening walk. I can become again the man who once crossed the Surrey Park at dusk, in my best suit, swaggering on the promise of life. The man who, with the clarity of passion, made love to you in the library. The story can resume. I will return. Find you, love you, marry you and live without shame.

What do you think, Kimberland?

[Publicist has no idea what Thundercats is]

You never watched? [Rachel now breaks into the theme song] Thunder, thunder, thunder Thundercats!
I love this. Heh, she's so cute.

Wes Craven

"[I saw her in] The Notebook. Before that, she did Mean Girls. It was an ensemble, but she was the main mean girl. You wouldn’t recognize her — you would not recognize her. She is kind of like a Meryl Streep in some ways, she can totally change her look with a different hairstyle. I’ve seen pictures of her in the trades, and I think, "Wait. Is that Rachel?" She’s able to just change herself completely at will."

Just Rachel

"I go camping with the bears and the bugs up in northern Canada. It’s funny, because I was in Toronto for like three days, because I had just wrapped the other film, and my friends and I went out for brunch and then went to this huge garage sale. I was having these flashes. I was walking home yesterday – like not that long ago, with a big chair over my head and a $5 coffee table under my arm. Stuff like that helps, I find."

You bought a chair and a coffee table?
"Yeah, we bought a chair and a coffee table that only had three legs."

Wes Craven describes Rachel perfectly. Her versatility in roles and looks make her one of today's unique young actresses.

I can't skate for my life either, but I've always enjoyed watching figure skating on TV. I wonder how Rachel skates.
