"I loved working with Rachel. I wasn't really aware of who she was. Before the movie started, I hadn't seen ‘Mean Girls’ and it was during filming that we had a screening of ‘The Notebook.’ I was kind of blown away because I had already seen in ‘Wedding Crashers’ how she could be funny and very charming, but that was like a very powerful emotional role that she played. And to me she has like such a great face. It could be like be from a 1950’s movie star. It's very open. She's very polite. She's Canadian and that's always nice."

Life: When it comes to bathing suits, do you prefer one piece or two?
Wilson: Skinny-dipping. That’s what I remeber about making this film. Rachel would say, “Did someone say ‘skinny-dipping?,’” then take off like a shot, peeling off her clothes.
McAdams: You’re such a liar! What about you and your cute two-piece?
Wilson: I have an old-fashioned swimsuit that comes way up to here [points to shoulders] and down to there [points to knees]. I have to protect my skin. I’m very fair. And very modest.

OW: While shooting Wedding Crashers, sometimes when I was getting ready I’d read over the scene you were going to do, and I’d think to myself, “Oh this is kind of a corny line. There’s no way she’s going to get out of this one.” And then you’d find a way to say it where it was not only believable and real but also very winning.
RM: [laughs] You’re too kind.

OW: I remember when you had to do an emotional scene you prepared by listening to your Ipod. It was “Landslide” by Fleetwood Mac. [both laugh] Boy, you’d hear that song and it was like turning on a faucet!
RM: Oh, I can’t believe you! And then Vince [Vaughn, who also appears in the film] started singing it too. You were noth standing there at the altar, sining “Landside” dead serious. It totally took me out! But whatever works.

OW: Exactly. So let’s go back to Wedding Crashers for a second. What was it like to kiss Owen Wilson? I think all the readers would probably like to know that.
RM: It’s the million dollar question. [laughs] We kiss twice in the movie, don’t we? Once in the church and once on the beach?

OW: Yeah, I remember it like it was yesterday.
RM: I thought those were really nice scenes. We were kind of fighting that day in the church, so stakes were high, and it was passionate.

OW: Good. I have to worry about you. My Lord, I don’t want our little Rachel getting manhandled by a demon in a Wes Craven movie!
RM: [laughs] Well, there’s a little mishandling, but I manage.

When I was making this thread, I was looking up their old interviews. During the WC press, Owen mentioned how Rachel was polite and Canadian and during MiP he mentioned that same thing again.

Hm, I think I'll say Midnight in Paris as a whole for the film.

But John and Claire were very cute.

I think I prefer them as a couple in Wedding Crashers, because they weren't much of a couple in Midnight in Paris

I really liked hearing from Woody Allen about how much he wanted both Rachel and Owen in his film together.
