Hee, totally agree. When I went shopping on Black Friday, some little old ladies pushed me outta the way trying to get some movie. It was hilarious.

I could totally picture that.

Black Friday tends to get alittle too out of hand, for the most part.

But you can't pass up the great deals on that day. Some places in my area have like 50-75% off most of their products. I love it!

Aw, shucks!

I never go shopping on Boxing Day [except for this year, but it wasn't even for me!] I guess this years experience has taught me to continue that tradition.

Have you guys ever received an item twice by two different people at christmas? Oh boy. It's awkward.

What did you guys receive twice?

I haven't received the same present, but I've given the same present as somebody else.

I remember my brother getting the same birthday present from two people, but that's it.

I got the same movie this year from my mom and my aunt. But it wasn't that awkward, thankfully.

Both, one of my close friends and my brother got me the Twilight soundtrack as one of their gifts. Both of them also knew that prior to Christmas, I had already downloaded the songs from the soundtrack, thanks to the internet. My brother swapped the Twilight CD with another CD he knew I wanted a couple of days after xmas, so it wasn't too bad. He got me the Chuck S1 DVD too, which was pretty awesome.

It was raining yesterday, so I forced my brother to come and see Twilight with me. He didn't complain at the end, so I guess he liked it. He really hated Eric though. Both of my brothers liked it surprisingly enough [my other brother was dragged by his wife, hee]. And yesterday, more than half of the audience were males in my cinema.

They were all probably dragged by their wives/girlfriends/sisters.

I'm thinking of seeing Benjamin Button. Has anyone seen it or planning to see it?

Aw, you finally got to see Twilight Jess? Did you like it? My step-dad went with me one time and he really liked it. It was funny.

I really want to see Benjamin Button, too. I've heard that it was good.

Happy New Years everyone Here's hoping that everyone has a prosperous '09

My brother saw the Benjamin Button movie a few hours ago and he really liked it. I was supposed to go, but I refuse to see anything dramatic with Brad Pitt in it (I only see comedies, ) so I stayed home and unintentionally got a tan. (It's so hot right now, it's ridiculous).

Ashley - I saw Twilight the first time in mid December at a preview party, before the actual release date. This time, I didn't pay for anything. But I did really like it! Yesterday, I had a discussion about the series with my brother and his friend, and told them about how Jacob is a werewolf in New Moon, so he's kinda excited. He's under the impression that it'll be like Underworld (even though it's not).
